Normally, development hell lasts for about 1-4 months. Anything exceeding that time period is considered dead or big ball for the studios. Halo, for one thing, is not big ball. In fact, it's anything but. It should be ranked below Transformers 2 were the two scripts still in the process of finding a production. No one would sign on because of the blatantly obvious and undeniable outcome. A terrible bomb. No famous cast, no production, and no outcome for that matter. Need anyone argue the opposite, I will give you undeniable evidence.
If there ever were a Halo movie, I'd sit back in my reclining chair and watch Halo stagnantly stay below the profit line in worldwide gross. "I told you so!"
The trailer on youtube has ten million views.
Halo movie, let's say receives a quarter, which isn't likely, is still a hell lot.
