Subject: Who's better, master chief or the orbiter?

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

One saved humanity/the galaxy while the other turned his back on his own race.

The answer is clear.
Turned his back on his own race you say? Quite the contrary. He lead his race out of a dark rut in following a terrible religion and Did just as much as the Demon did to save the galaxy. So both of them saved their race/the galaxy, but one led his people out of a false hope, he led them into their new era. He started a revolution. I think the answer is very clear.

In halo legands Maste Chief would have found a way to win the battle like he always does.

The elites struggled with Covenant tech, and seeped back down to their tech level for their kind. Which is natural. They also went around slaughtering brutes for vengeance, and searched the stars for the true faith. Humanity on the other hand, suffered from a struggling war economy, and did their best to rebuild and reclaim some of the planets which were glassed. And to the guy saying that chief would find a way out, that is because he is the main protagonist. lol

Once again, the answer is clear. Arbiter wins, flawless victory.

well seeing as the Arbiter was the one commanding the covenant forces in halo one that Master chief wiped out i will go with the chief (also chief has cortana on his side this gives him a huge advantage),but i like both of them anyways.

Like... The Moon? I think the Orbitor wins by default, he can't be destroyed without completely destroying the balance on Earth.

lol, and yes I know you had a typo.

If that's the case, then the only person who can stop of Orbitor is Link.

Ok look at it like this the "orbiter" was in charge of protcting the first Halo...He had an entire army...against one human ship.....Halo was destroyed
And maybe leading wasn't his thing, what about the way he struggleded in Halo 2 when he was captured by the Gravemind. Really showed how cool he was there.
And in halo 3 his biggest role was being player two...Yay

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I think the Orbiter would win, for he could just orbit the Chief and punch him every revolution.

Well, MC is the main protagonist, and to make the story interesting, they had to make him beat impossible odds. If he wasn't the protagonist, based on numbers alone, Humanity (Master Chief included) would all be dead. But that wouldn't make a very fun game, now would it?

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

The Master Chief, mainly because I have no idea what the Orbiter is...?

Master Chief. Yeah, the Arbiter owned Truth, but how many Halos has the Arbiter blown up?

  • 12.25.2010 4:15 PM PDT

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

I'd love to see John try and fight a pissed off Moon...

Atleast one. And his efforts during Halo 2 prevented Installation 05 from being activated, if that counts he destroyed two rings.

The O key isn't even close to the A key. Mabye the srbiter or wrbiter, but orbiter makes no sense.
