Alright when reach came out i was a little bummed. I thought that bungie would have done a better job with creating it. Now dont get me wrong but i still love bungie i just really didnt like reach. I dont know why but i just have been playing halo 3 and have noticed halo 3 was better than reach because i liked the graphics on reach better but the gameplay on halo 3 better.

Now does anyone else agree with me and dont yell at me if you dont.

yes i think they should have. hahahaha

I'm fairly impressed with the multiplayer. A lot of the map design and object placement totally blows on much of the MM stuff, but mechanically the game does what it sets out to do very well. Not my personal favorite style (I prefer HCE's mechanics), but good execution and I'm liking it a lot. With better object layouts in maps, it could be even better, but as is it's pretty good (and, hey, custom games bypass that issue!).

I thought the campaign was poorly written, though, and significantly less interesting than previous Halos' campaigns (most of which I still play, while I've already pretty much left Reach's behind).

I do agree with you and what do you mean bypass the customgames?

There are some really strong elements in Reach but also, surprisingly, a lot of weak elements. Namely the storyline and campaign gameplay/scope. I like the multiplayer a lot and have few problems with it, the only ones being vehicle health and map diversity.

yes i thought there were some good things but a lot more bad things than i hoped for

They should have made you able to add marines, flood, and covenant into forge so that you could make your battles even better. imagine 10 marines all in scwerpians fighting a massive wave of covenant. you set them to only respond every 5 minutes so the flood come back but this time they have mongeese and rocket launchers. then they all have ghosts, and you hand your friends could be defending a base from a covenant assault of all hunters with marine snipers defending from turrets. or you could make it like cod zombies except each wave is a time thing and they just get better weapons and your defending a area not building barricades. the possibilities are endless.

They should have stuck with the original campaign idea when the entire campaign lasted 2 days instead of over a month. Remember the world premiere trailer where Carter has no hair and you see the falcons rush to the massive explosion? That should have stayed, it would be August 29, 2552 and the battle has begun according to book canon.

I wish this would have stayed...

They should have also stuck with the idea of having 15 campaign missions, 14 of which are playable, currently we have 11 campaign missions which 10 are playable, Bungie revealed that they removed multiple missions such as a return to space, driving a scarab, infiltrating the Covenant camp, and protecting a MAC security system, there were many other idea's scraped.

Could you imagine the game with these missions added? I would have fallen over with joy. They also said they originally had a death planned for Jun but didn't have time to fit it in, I mean, seriously, you just lost Jun, Carter, and Emile in a matter of one mission, they could at least remove Jun's death and give it a possibility of his survival, and they did.

This is my rant, and how what I just said would have made Reach better.

dude that would have been awesome and i think they should have kept the duel wielding because alot of people loved duels including me

Well, no optional dual wielding, maybe only as a pre-selected option, think of it as a loadout for Firefight or Invasion, The medic class would be equip with dual wielded SMG's, you can't undual wield them otherwise they would be extremely weak, I think this should have been there.

Why keep the Spiker if you don't have an SMG to counter it? Exodus would have been a example for the SMG's with the ODST's, close quarters combat and ODST's, Why no SMG's? I hate it =[

yea they should have made it optional that would have been better

I still like the marketing strategy behind the map pack.

I bet you they could have fit all this in if they didn't waste all their time with trying to make ODST into a full game as opposed to the expansion pack it was originally going to be.
