They should have stuck with the original campaign idea when the entire campaign lasted 2 days instead of over a month. Remember the world premiere trailer where Carter has no hair and you see the falcons rush to the massive explosion? That should have stayed, it would be August 29, 2552 and the battle has begun according to book canon.
I wish this would have stayed...
They should have also stuck with the idea of having 15 campaign missions, 14 of which are playable, currently we have 11 campaign missions which 10 are playable, Bungie revealed that they removed multiple missions such as a return to space, driving a scarab, infiltrating the Covenant camp, and protecting a MAC security system, there were many other idea's scraped.
Could you imagine the game with these missions added? I would have fallen over with joy. They also said they originally had a death planned for Jun but didn't have time to fit it in, I mean, seriously, you just lost Jun, Carter, and Emile in a matter of one mission, they could at least remove Jun's death and give it a possibility of his survival, and they did.
This is my rant, and how what I just said would have made Reach better.
I bet you they could have fit all this in if they didn't waste all their time with trying to make ODST into a full game as opposed to the expansion pack it was originally going to be.
