Try bringing down the screen resolution to 640x480, turn off decals, specular, and shadows. That's how mine is setup.

Here's your other topic.

That's ok,but aren't the graphics realy bad that way?I mean that sometimes it works without any "sticky" parts, but for example, when I enter a room it becomes slower, while outside It works much more better.

Yeah, I would like someone to help me with my problem:

I just borrowed Halo from a friend, and it works great!

The thing is, the decals can't be turned on, nor the shadows or the specs. None of them can be turned on.

can anyone help?

Your graphics card does not allow for them.
I have the same problem with specular and shadows, but then, i have the lowest of the low graphics card, a GeForce 2! Its says in the config file that "UNSUPPORTED = Anything below a GF2" lol

But the thing that worries me is that I have a brand new Gateway Laptop. Shouldn't the graphics card be able to suport it?

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

What graphics card/chip do you have? What model is the laptop?

All I know is that it's a gateway laptop. I would like to know what graphics card I'm using.

Go to Start->run->type in "dxdiag" without the quotation marks and then save the report by hitting the "save all information" button.
Then open the text document and copy and paste it into a post here.
We can look at it and tell what system specs you have.

That's why.
It's not supported.
Just to be a stickler: it's a chip, not a card.

You can't change the chip - it's soldered onto your motherboard, and while you can un-solder chips, well, I'm not sure you can pop in a newer integrated chip. Your mobo was designed to have this one chip occupy it - I doubt you can just swap in new architecture.

Basically, I don't think you can upgrade your graphics hardware...

You may be able to upgrade your laptop by getting a video card installed, buy I don't know if you can.
Try talking to someone at a local computer or electronics store. Don't do anything with Best Buy though involving an actual computer getting bought, upgraded, or fixed. They will screw it up by diabling features or wiping the hard drive or something like that.(yes, I know people they have done that to)

I can talk to my bro about it. He works at the nearby Circuit City.

Use Flood-B-Gone daily to keep your rotting corpse dead...

I turned off the shadows for my game they make it a lot less clunky

Is it online that is slow? If so, check your online speed. That can bite your speed. Also Darth_noobulator, are you in the Darth clan?
