Um.....Red name tag??

Mine was the scarab gun.

I think the Scarab gun was my favorite Bungie mistake, but I don't think it was planted as an egg. The gun was used as a placeholder in Metropolis and Outskirts but it was not needed in The Great Journey. The stories I've read (speculation) was that Bungie had not perfected having the Scarab as a movable object and having the gun move with it when they made Met and OS. By the time they made GJ they had figured that out.

At that point they had run out of time and left the placeholder's in the game. I also believe the time factor was the reason so many barriers were left out.

So if Bungie had installed sufficient barriers we would not have seen the guns.

Anyway, egg or not, I liked the Scarab gun the most.

Edit: After more thought, two guns may have been an egg; they appear at the Scarab as it fires once. This happens on Metropolis and also inside the tunnel on OS.

halo 2 still the best game in the series. long live halo 2.

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

Scarab Gun because it was difficult to get "trying to lure banshee to the right spot" and it was very useful on legendary.

I liked the skulls a lot. Unlike in other Halo games, there were sometimes cool things around the skulls: dancing heretic grunts for Grunt Birthday, raging invisible elites for Envy, etc.

And unlike in ODST and Reach, the skulls are actually, well, SKULLS.

Yeah, half the fun was finding the things.

Envy still keeps me coming back. And the perpetual Envy glitch...that's really the essence of Halo's...uh...Haloness. It unlocked new dialogue and made for a whole new appreciation.
