Oh, BR55. How you continue to please. Your satisfying range, tactical looks and burst-firing-havoc has left me satisfied again and again and again.

The way your scope has a lovely blue tinge to it, the way your magazine is located behind the trigger in bullpup configuration, the way your bursts of three deadly bullets can eliminate everything below a Hunter with unrivaled ease.

Truly, you were a demi-god, BR55. A name to remember. Your name was up there with the legends - Hercules, Achilles, and you.

There was no doubting that they would end your dominance for the next game. After seeing what you could do, after you became a signature weapon in gaming for your sheer lethality, they toned you down a little. But not enough to make you any less a legend. You still went on to remain dominant, and lethal, and vicous, like a wolf.

In the right hands, you could destroy armies of enemies in Campaign and Multiplayer. In the right hands, you were undefeatable. Unavoidable. Infailable.

You were the BR55 Battle Rifle and you were a Spartan's best friend. To this day, we still play Halo 2's campaign, just to experience you.

Tireless amusement lol.

There's no doubting that the BR was an iconic and loved weapon, even if it was hitscan in Halo 2.
