It's a very difficult to do that kind of things I believe. How could you even be able to get 64 players into same game without dedicated servers and enormous lag. Then if we think further 128 players then 256, 512,1024, 2048, 4096, 8192 and so on. We all know that Bungie doesn't use dedicated servers because they're too expensive.

I am not sure how that would work but I don't mind an MMO, I wouldn't pay for it because MMOs generally are quite expensive..
