Subject: Getting into Halo PC

Let there be CHAOS!

When I click the Halo icon on my desktop, a window opens up saying my hardware is under the requirements or whatever. No problem because it works fine anyways. But I am still wary about Halo 2 Vista.

I would definitely not bother getting Halo 2 Vista if you are having issues running Halo PC.

And because Halo 2 Vista is balls.

Well Halo 1 PC runs fine and great. I am just not going to risk wasting $20. Sometime later when I get a new computer... I want the achievements and stuff though in the PC version.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

My friend got h2PC to work on a 965. It was a little slow, but it worked.
As for the error, it's because the game is programmed to only "support" ati and nvidia. Intel brings up an "unsupported" error, but if you disable popping that up, you can play Halo PC.

I have the 965 but I want to see textures and have a good framerate. If it doesn't have that then I don't care.

There's no low res Halo 2 Vista textures. HiredGun didn't keep any in the game. On the framerate side, even good computers clip. What you'll need to find is the "FPS Limiter". It makes the game run much smoother (That is if you run into this problem)

Eh I am not going to risk it. Maybe when I have $20 extra laying around.

I can play Halo CE with all settings on full.

Halo CE will be playable, heck it is even playable on the even worse Intel 845!

Halo 2 will also work, but only on low (xbox 1) settings.

Yeah it works on most.

I don't mind if it has Xbox graphics. I just don't want a lot of lag and bad textures and stuff.
