Radicals ruin the world so give it a break, live a little.

Reach....

Reach was a game developed as Bungies final halo game. They are moving to other projects under a new Publisher. Reach is the steping stone in which 343 Industries will climb. Reach is intended to be graphically superior to its predesesors and to have a epic storyline that will expand the story of the human covenant war.

We as gamers fear change. In my eyes reach isnot a "Halo" game. It is a steping stone to something that we as gamer can not yet see.

We are in a new decade. Halo must evolve to survive. Reach is between these worlds. Past and future. Reach is testing the franchise's limits to see what will be improved in future Halos.

I enjoy Reach. I adore its graphics, fanbase and story. seeing people complain of it makes me sad.

Prepare for the new era of Halo. We shall see what is ahead in due time...

We as gamers fear change.

I quite like change, it offers a fresh look on things. And besides, I am quite looking forward to this 'new Halo era' Reach was different from the others but in a good way.

I'm pretty sure that's heresy, and that it conflicts with the "Code of Manliness" - page 792, section E subsection D paragraph 3.2. I suggest you relay that statement.

Define how you see Reach as a stepping stone.

At the end of Reach I felt a sense of completion and fullfilment. I suppose this could be related a little to the star wars saga. I was thrust into the middle of a story with the beginning to be revealed to me later; having disregarded events prior to Halo CE since there were more urgent matters at hand with the discovery of the Halo, I felt that Reach "regarded" all of the former disregarded pieces making a complete story to give me that warm fuzzy feeling we all love in a video game. I think Reach linked the circle of the halo's together a circle that I don't see as very manipulable as a stepping stone. Unless you refer to gameplay as a FPS, I don't see the stepping stone.

I'm merely curious; don't take offense. I'd like to with more depth what you're thinking.

i think the fact gamers fear change is the thing thats basically stagnating the gaming industry as a whole, so many people are obsessed with these simplistic, reflex shooters, and im sorry to say as much as i enjoy it reach is definately one of those! deveopers seem genuinely afraid to steer away from the very generic mould, halo: reach as good as it was changed nothing from the previous versions, sure they had armour abilities but thats about it! i think halo needs an absolute, fundamental gameplay style change, to get rid of the bunny hopping, twitchy gameplay you experience online! make it more adult for crying out loud, its about mass genocide, not hugging bears!
