Ok, so im on my cell phone and accessing b.net (its one of those Pocket PC's running Windows) and of course b.net is in a downgraded display on it.. Thank god.

Anyway, things are a little messed up and outta order but its still good. So i go to my groups and then to a forum in one.. And I notice that the Create New Topic button is just text, but not a link.

So I go to reply to a message instead. I hit reply and write up my message, but when I want to submit it, I notice that there is no submit button anywhere to be seen. nothing.

So i had to forfeit and just read the msg's... Even though at that time I had something important to say.

So, does anyone (achronos) know why this is like that? And if its gonna be fixed or if its not considered important...

There was a thread on this a couple months back. It's just simple to say that Bungie.net just isn't compatible at the moment with mobile devices.

Yea it's the same on my psp I created a thread about it and Achronos basically said 'too bad but it's on my list of things to do'.

Mobiles aren't official supported on bungie.net, so any problems that arise while using them won't be fixed.

Unless Bungie decides to support mobiles, of course.

Bungie.net is not designed for any browsers other than IE 5.5/6, Firefox 1.0+, Netscape 7+, or Safari. Anything else that it can display is considered a bonus. As such, you'll find it won't display on a PSP, or a mobile phone, or a PDA. This might change in the future, but it isn't exactly a huge priority right now. It is also likely that mobile units would get deliberately restricted to only a certain set of functionality, like game stats, if they did get enabled.

Achronos has mentioned that he believes that PIE (Pocket Internet Explorer) compatibility should not be too difficult and will likely be the first mobile browser supported.

I swear I've got IE 5.5 on my iMac, but it still goes into crap mode. Then I have to use Netscape, which lags horribly. I can hardly scroll.

Sigh on my old mac I can't get the new versions so it is always downgraded display which gets really annoying. But im jc how hard is it to make b.net compatible with PIE and psp and such? I guess it would be extremly difficult.

Mac IE isn't recommended. I think it's better to use a stone tablet than Mac IE, in fact.
