Wow, that's weird. So Reig just "lost interest"? I'll miss him being around.

Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.

Ah, what the hell? I'm gone for a few days and come back to find that Reiginko has left for good. Suckage.

Shishka, TGP, Yoozel, Achronos, Sketch, Stosh.

How come I'm there? Shishka, Yoozel, Achronos, Sketch and Stosh are all awesome, and I'm shoved in there like some hideous bagel.

Because you're so easy to spell. A ton of people can't spell Reiginko, but anyone can spell TGP.

Thanks for posting that, Nakki. It was nice to read as a sort of farewell to bnet from Reig.

At least he will still be in his group.

No, I believe this is good-bye fo good. Unlikely he will be back.

Two thing that are sure. Reiginko won't be forgotten, and he will be missed.

Now that the traditional goodbye has been done, I'll simply say that you will be missed, just like all the other old-schoolers that I won't bother mentioning the names of. So long, Reiginator.

'Home is behind, The world ahead, And there are many paths to tread, Through shadow, to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight, Mist and shadow, Cloud and shade, All shall fade, All shall...Fade'
Reiginko

Ever since this thread (go to second page) I had always liked Reiginko. I remember always wanting to PM him since that thread, but could never build up the confidence. Till Gaara and two other friends told me to stop being all wussy and just do it. That was when, I think, we had kinda became friends. After that, I made myself stay up just waiting for him to reply back to my PMs till one day Gaara decided to tell Reig to add me to MSN...I hated Gaara for that, but was glad he did that.

Since then Reig had helped me with a few situations I was in and needed advice to. He helped alot and I still have those convos saved in my email...along with a ton of other convos we have had. Even if alot of it was small talk. I plan to save all the PM convos we have had too.

And so here is a small going away present(I guess you could call it) for you:

Goodbye Reiginko.

(Note: I did the pic in MS Paint...and saved and copied the images from the avatar section in the settings.)

This is not a memorabilia to reiginko. this is not a goodbye speech. these are just a few thoughts i had while thinking about life.

Life. that's really what its all about. We're all here...for life. to live, to do something. Some people strive for doing, and others don't. Some believe in religion, others believe in themselves. But we're all here to live.

And that's something that i don't think most of us really look at when we think about bungie or bnet. most of us think HALO2 or Halo , but we don't really think about the implications of life. Sure, bungie has made some great games, but they are here to contribute to more than just making something: they were out to make something that is worthwhile and enjoyable. and as we all see, its been a success.

Someone once said "any moment you enjoy is not a wasted moment". That means that sure, you could be sitting on your xbox for the entire day, but if you have fun, it cant be bad for you. I won't say doing so is good for your physical health, but if you can feel better about life because of a game, then you've just succeeded in fulfilling bungie's reason for being.

And they made bnet for people to share their thoughts on the games, and other things as well. The mod's picked to moderate these forums are people who keep the peace, bring us joy, and make us laugh. We can't look at them as police officers...hell, most of them are clowns as it is. Sure, one could say that without them, bnet would crumble in rampant flamming and disorder...but i think that it would just fade away slowly from the lack of attention they give to us.

The mod's here are the peacekeepers, the inspirers, etc. But then again, they also have lives, have dreams, have hopes...and we shouldn't be upset about them, we should encourage them. Nobody here will be playing bungie games in 20 years...because most of us will simply outgrow videogames (unless your reading this and only 10 years old). We all know that videogames are a great way to have fun, but there is a certain point in all of our lives that we lose interest in them. Some of us just grow out of them.

But while we're here, we should cherish these moments of fun and glory. Don't complain and moan and -blam!- that something is wrong, look at it as just another step up the totem pole. We should be greatful that we have a great site like this to post our thoughts and ideas, because alot of people will never have such a chance. That is what i have to say.

Nothing here was meant to make any discussion of any kind. If you respond to me from my statement, i will not respond back because i will not read it. Consider it my words to the leaving of Reiginko, whom i didn't know very well, didn't have exceptionally good experiences with, but realize that he's just another guy like the rest of us. If you have something you'd like to say to me, don't waste it on this thread, pm me instead.

<Reiginko> i've lost interest pretty much

I'm surprised that others like Reiger are losing interest in b.net too. Well at least I'm not the only one anymore. I still log on once every few days, just see whats happening, but I don't think I will completely stop coming to b.net. Although I can think of some people that have somewhat left, but are just logging in to stay somewhat alive.Maybe one day everyone will come back...

Actually, i'm not suprised at all, and i guess it was only a matter of time before someone like Reig would leave. (the biggest suprise for me was that it was him)
Even i have lost lots of interest. And the last number of months just weren't that fun.
People losing interest kind of shows where B.net is heading, so i hope that Reig is a sign for us to make things better.

It's because there's nothing to talk about now, except Halo 3, which is dead boring. It'll only hype back up when the next Bungie game comes out.

Hype with all kinds of activity, new and old school. And there was much rejoicing.

Wow... Seeing Reiginko with the normal text, normal avatar and the role of Member is surreal. I think I'll just go cry in that corner.

Actually, that wouldn't be a bad idea. Put Reiginko's avatara back up there (well, he might not want that) and put a Former Ninja title. Meh, I don't know if Achronos would want to do something like that, but it would be nice...
