Is it not possible to gather up enough Halo fans, and with the help of Bungie push Microsoft up against a wall and make them make the movie? I mean, there A LOT of people who wants this movie in theaters or as a TV-series? It's almost certain to be a great success. And not to mention all the money they could earn, so there should not be a problem financially.

It's a treasure, and a opportunity. Why won't they seize their opportunities?

I DO WANT A HALO MOVIE! DON'T YOU?

I've read the whole thing now, and it was not very convincing.. We should do something! I'm just sayin' that we have the power to make this happend, if every single halo fan from all over the world signed that they want a Halo movie to happend. And maybe even more people. There would be millions of people signing. And maybe the'll all get a little more eager to get the movie into theaters.

We're sooooooo many people! I'd say it's an opportunity!

Hey, B.net

i'm a nice guy, doesn't troll and loves Bungie. I enjoy playing video games, usualy shooters and a bit of horror , Dead Space, Halo, Gears of War, Halo, Battlefeild, did i mention Halo ? Lol. Anyways, "invest in realestate, always eat breakfast, all the chicks on the internet are ACTUALLY DUDES, and never buy the extended warrenty on anything, EVER !"

sincerely

343 confirmed a movie round 2015

Well, that's some good news! Let's hope it's actually going to happen this time..

Supreme Dictator, Industrial Polluter, Megalomaniac, Corrupt Politician, Underhanded Reprobate, Rainforest Ravager, Puppy Kicker, Oil Spill Coordinator, Holiday Hater, and an Insurance Salesman.

I'd be content if a movie didn't end up being made. The track record for video game to movie transitions is overwhelmingly poor.

The one and only

Right, but don't forget, they tried to make the movie before, but the company they signed on with quit. And,just to throw something in,the director they hired for the movie, was the same guy who directed Avatar.

Hopefully you don't mean The Last Airbender. Also I can see James Cameron making a pretty good halo movie considering all the special effects in Avartar. Even the vehicles look Halo-ish.

Anti-Teabag self-destruct mechanisms ftw

What do you mean this time? The original "movie" was a commercial for halo 3 and I doupt that 343 will back out on something that essentialy has the script written for it.

No, the guy they had up originally for director was the one who directed District 9, but he quit, and that's partly what made the plans for a Halo movie fall through.

james lonstreet is right for the most part: bloodrayne was by far the worst and i honestly cant belive anyone in there right mind would watch it let alone request a 2nd,which then again silent hill was a really well directed rendition of a movie. also tomb raider was a great example too,but movies like mortal kambat, blood rayne, street fighter, and mutant cronicles were jus horrible. but some good or decent ones are max payne, the 1st 2 resident evils, tomb raider, silent hill, hitman, and doom. soo it really all depends on not only director, pulisher, buget but to make good video game movie the ppl workin on it need to be fans as well, ppl who would accually devoted to makin a QUALITY product. thats the biggest part of it in my opinion. ooohhh and P.S. i would really love to see a halo movie/trilogy/series, but only under the right conditions.

second note as far as director s go id have to say george lucas for a live action, james cameron if its primarly CG, and if its a classic anime style hayao miyazaki....

I think its a great idea as long as they do it right and put proper effort into this with the same voices as the game etc cortana, johnson, chief, arbiter.

What I'm saying is that I really hope they go through with the movie this time. Because they've tried it before, but the movie got canceled or something. There's a lot of stories and rumors, but I believe that the licensing and owner rights are the major problems here. Maybe some financial disbeliefs or fear of failure, but those lesser problems should not be worried about. I know that there's no Halo movie trailer and that the live action shorts are just commercials for the games. But if they could afford making the live action trailers, there's obviously that they can afford it. And I agree that if they're supposed to make it, it should be made by people who love the story and love Halo. I would not like to be disappointed..

The movie would be epic. because, coupled with a series of them, would be epic.
Some of them MAY include, (rumors guys)
Fall of Reach
Halo 1,2,3
and
Halo: The Flood
Remember. these are rumors and not actual movies.
