Of course we all know Halo 1 was rushed to make it at the launch of Xbox. And while Halo 2 has been taking it's sweet time preparing before it too must launch, the fact of the matter is, it MUST launch!

In an earlier issue of Official Xbox Magazine, I believe I remember them saying that Microsoft is giving Bungie all the time it needs to develop Halo 2. And the reason being that Bungie doesn't have the pressure of releasing for the launch of Xbox anymore. Bungie is now free to create the ultimate game they desire... or are they? Also, in the earlier OXM mag, I believe I remember them saying that MIcrosoft is giving them all the time they need, however, if Bungie was not to come out with a release date soon enough, Microsoft would eventually have to step in and say "Okay, you need to decide on a release date now." And it wasn't that long ago that Bungie decided on a release of "Fall, 2004."

So, anyway, I wonder if Bungie is being pressured yet again for a release? Will Halo 2 truly be all it can be this Fall of 2004? I'd much rather Halo 2 be delayed longer than have it wrapped too soon (if that's what's happening) if Bungie feels Halo 2 really needs longer time in development.

cheers,
Twisted Chains

Play as a team win as a team or die as a team!

I would rather have a perfect game instead of a game full of Gitchs to short and all kind of stuff missing.

Yes, I too put my trust in Bungie to make a great game no matter how long it takes. I fully agree with what you said, although we know Bungie can still make a great game while rushed as we seen with Halo. Nonetheless, I want Halo 2 to be all it can be when it is launched, even if I had to wait another year.

two years i think since they started unless theyve been slacking i doubt they are being pressured maybe pressured because they have to do this E3 thing and make sure it works perfectly and if it doesnt some fanatic halo player would kill himself (hypothetically cause if this was me i would already be dead) they'va had more than enough time and more than enough new things the only thing im worried about is people will still say it's bad cause it will not be much of an improvement. (so far only new weapons, flying vehiclees, boarding, boost, and 4 teams (anything else ad urself)) But i still bet theres tons of groundbreaking feature which arnt out yet or else they wouldnt have taken this long

Well i disagree with you on some parts. I would like halo2 to take its sweet merry time to realease the ultimate game this planet has ever seen. However how do you know that the xbox wasnt pressuredinto realease because halo was completed?
