I know threads like these have already been made and I apologize if I'm just adding to the flood of them. But I wanted to get my piece in about the whole "glory days" thing.
Halo 3 was my first Halo game. It rules. It stayed in my Xbox pretty much all the way until Reach. Something about it just got me hooked. I've also heard all the hype about Halo 2, watched youtube vids of it, and have seen some of the maps. It looked just as good, if not better. What happened? I'm certainly not a Reach basher. But at the same time I feel like Reach does not have that "addictive" factor. It may for a while when you wanna gain credits, but in the long run that becomes repetitive and boring. I do like Reach, just not as much as the old "gloriful" (if that's even a word lol) Halo days. I guess it's like they say: All good things must come to an end. Guess maybe it's a good time for Bungie to turn over Halo to a diff company eh? I don't mean anything insulting by that. Just that they had their run and I think Reach was a good stopping point. Not to sound like a nerdy fanboy but it does kinda make me sad. I had such a great time on Halo 3. It was awesome. To know that those days will, and are already, coming to an end is saddening. Gotta say, I won't play Reach half as much as I played Halo 3. =(
