I do not fear death, in view of the fact that I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it. ~ Mark Twain
I am a multiple SWAT 50, and I will give you tips.
Firstly, you should camp a lot (serious now) as it gives you a high K/D and therefore will balance the teams K/D giving your team a much better chance of the win.
Secondly you should jump a lot, but you should go a Spartan (not an Elite) because of the smaller body (even if the hitbox is slightly easier than an Elite) because it makes you more stealthy whilst camping and will also intimidate opponents, "OH he's playing as a Spartan in SWAT?? Only the Pro's do that, he must be awesome" And they won't see you coming, creating a greater illusion of fear (Halo is psychological, if your opponent thinks you're good, then you are.)
You should use the BR, but it's important that you don't shoot maniacally with it, you take your time to line the shot up, so it's almost always a OHK (One-Hit-Kill) which yet again, will probably be the most psychologically detrimental factor. Seriously, they won't see you, won't know where you are and be dead without ever knowing your location. What's scarier than that one shot in the dark, and just the one shot, nothing afterwards, which is most important, as it will give the subconscious impression that you knew you were going to kill him, it was doubtless, so you only bothered to take one shot.
And finally and most importantly, you should aim for the head. The head is a one-shot-kill and so will only ever mean you should use the carbine. You will only ever need one bullet, and with auto-aim being so strong you will never miss a shot, creating the ultimate ninja.
