Now that you can use MSN Alerts in conjunction with an RSS feed, would it be possible to offer an MSN Alerts service for bungie.net that would update whenever news was posted?

Um, what's MSN Alerts?

This.

And if you want to use it with your blog/site/group/whatever then you can do so here.

I don't think that there's an equivalent service.

Besides, as well as sending alerts to Messenger, the service can also send alerts to an e-mail address or mobile device.

Oh okay. I think I get it.

I wouldn't really use it, but it would be cool for a lot of other people.

Wouldnt this be a more MSN question instead of b.net? Or a cooperation between the 2 kinda thing?

And what exactly are you imply these be used for?

From what I understand, no. It seems that a website creator simply makes it themselves, and then puts it on MSN.

And what exactly are you imply these be used for?

I would guess just news, like the RSS feeds.

Now that's a good idea, Goweb. I'd use it, and I'm sure many other Bungie.net-ers would too.

hmmm I guess it's a good idea for people who don't check the frontpage for news every 5 minutes *cough* me *cough*, but I also have a handy-dandy Halo toolbar recieving RSS feeds, so I might not really make use of something like this.
