Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.

It's not required, but it makes it a hell of a lot easier in regards to images.

lol. Well, you could use Paint even, but don't expect the theme to get selected if you do.

I'd say you don't need it, but it's really, really good for making themes.

500 hours... That's like 3 weeks of work. Nonetheless it is a damn good drawing.

That's amazing. I've saved a local copy on my computer... never saw somebody actually paint with MS Paint before.

-- Steve's been using Paint Shop Pro for years for his web graphics (and avatar, for that matter, with the help of its Animation Shop plug-in) and so really doesn't know other packages too well.

Wow. That was awesome. Was that seriously with Paint? I could never make that with anything, let alone Paint.

How do you get Pro? People talk about it, but I don't know how to get it.

I got mine as a bonus from some software I had bought. The Animation Shop plugin is very nice. I hardly use PSP compared to Photoshop, though.

I used Photoshop when i had a free trial for it. It ran out though. And I can't afford to pay for the program(rip off).

Paint Shop Pro is now a Corel product; the link heads to their product page for PSP.

-- Steve's just figured out that he's been using PSP for twelve years now. Yikes.

* Unless you make a theme like Terminal.

My housemate recently recommended The GIMP to me for image manipulation. Despite the fairly dodgy name, its pretty good as far as I can tell, and totally free.

Actually, nothing in Terminal was made in MSPaint - I used PSP exclusively in order to get transparencies working. But yes, point taken >:(

I'd like to think I've justified myself with Fleet Command and Holy City though...

Twelve years with PSP eh Steve? That's double my tally at six years.

I got started on PSP 3 for Windows 3.11. Actually, come to think of it, it's only 10 years with it; I started using it right after I got my "then-new" computer, which was right around the time that Windows 95 was hanging the "Start Me Up" promotional banner from the CN Tower.

-- Steve's "then-new" computer was much less powerful than the graphics card in his current one.

If you don't want to pay for Photoshop why don't you try G.I.M.P? It's free and has some nice features.

Wow, that looks pretty nice. Thanks for pointing that out. I think I'll download it onto my desktop tomorrow.
