Some people think that the Field Marshall from Winter Contingency with the Zealots that got away is the Field Marshall that killed Kat and the Field Marshall u kill at the end of The Pillar of Autumn. What do u think?

seems like a plausable idea, adds a bit of 'villiany' the the field marshall as well, making him like the 'legendary field marshall', so sure ill go for that!

Eh, I doubt it, but that would be cool.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

The Field Marshall survived Winter Contingency, so it wouldn't surprise me if he vowed to kill Noble Team after failing first time - honour code and all that.

I actually thought there were only zealots at that part, and that they all died.

It's a lot more possible than that idea that the field marshal who escapes is the zealot you kill in Tip of the Spear. It annoys the hell out of me when people make threads about it thinking they're smart.

So he just suddenly decided to take his horns off?

If you cannot lead by example , intimidate.

He had horns in both levels. He was also in the cutscene where he killed Kat with the needle rifle.

Reminds of that -blam!-head elite from Halo: The Flood, Zuka or whatever hunting down Master Chief

I am a monument to all your sins

maby, Marshels do lead entire ground engagements so there would probibly be just one on Reach.

I like to think it's the same one, like a sort of rivalry throughout the game. Still not sure how he knew where to be and when to get the shot at Kat...
