Subject: Feel the fire on that bulkhead - My Legendary Journey

I was there for the glory days of Combat Evolved. I was there when Halo 2 was hyped up and met the hype. I was there for the first days and last days of Halo 2 on Xbox Live. I was there for the Halo 3 days, the great Lag Age of 2008-2010. I was there to laugh and not buy ODST, I was there to vomit when Reach implemented reticle bloom. I am a Halo veteran, and a Halo legend.

GAMES CAN STILL FALL OFF RACKS MORON. Geeze you think bolted shelves means STUFF STILL DOESNT FALL? There is a bunch of stuff up high on shelves and accidents happen.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Yeah, but there wouldn't be enough to kill someone at my local gamestop. Now stop trying to find dumb reasons.

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I've seen JacobGRocks on Halo 2 Vista, and if his mother had died from a rack of shelves with Halo 2 on them, I don't suppose he'd want to buy Halo 2 Vista.

But lol anyway, at a fail example of trying to find out why he hates nubs who glorify a game that made nubs feel good, soo good, they have to post montages.

Dude have you even ever been to a gamestop? They have TONS of games, especially in the back room it is a death trap, they have boxes stacked waaayyy higher than they should be, and lots of games are heavy. Yea sure a small disc by itself doesnt weigh a lot, but neither does a snow flake. yet tons of people die from avalanches

1. You don't even go into the backrooms unless you work there. And I don't work there.
2. At mine, they have racks, and it's not a death trap out there.

Yeah, I liked this thread until it went horribly off-topic. There's a definition for people who destroy or disrupt threads but perhaps, in the case of this thread, it was unintentional.

Maybe give your latest update and see if everyone can stick with that.

Alright, as you have probably realized, I have postponed my Legendary run. This is for a few reasons:

1. I got Fallout: New Vegas, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Black Ops, and a loooot of Arcade games, as well as the 2010 reprints of The Fall of Reach and First Strike, Contact Harvest, and Cryptum for or around Christmas. This has been keeping me busy.

2. I plan to pick up Halo 2 Vista. This way I can get achievements for my Legendary run, as well as still playing online sometimes. Seems like a good idea to me.

Halo 2 for Life!

?

Come to us for advice, we have run though it many a time on legendary (or at least the majority), also there are thousands of youtube complete walkthrough videos, not to mention large volumes of step by step walkthrough by people.

I'm not saying yours wouldn't be useful, I'm just saying posting about postponements have very little relevance.

Post about your activity in the game of halo 2 is cool; talking about why you're not playing halo2 at this time is sorta... Not relevant.

I understand, but I didn't want people to think I'd dropped the idea or just forgotten about this thread. This thread is still for posting my Legendary progress, and for any tips anybody would like to give. I was simply letting people know that. We don't have to have a whole discussion about my postponement, but I figured it would be nice to let people know (as people have said they are very interested in my threads).

k do as you wish but I'm just suggesting your thread becomes bland when you speak of things not halo2 related.

If you have h2v, download blu trainer or casca. It will make campagin on legendairy more fun.

Just wanted to say, I got Halo 2 Vista. I spent all night getting it working (literally 4 straight hours), but I think it's stable and good to go now, so my Legendary journey will be commencing once again! I'll have to redo the first few levels, and simultaneously get the hang of keyboard/mouse combat, but oh well, I'll make due. But yeah. I'll be updating again soon. Keep an eye out for it.

  • 01.17.2011 1:59 AM PDT

i think this is harder on legendary you get sent back if only one person dies

I just tried my first Legendary run of this game, having just cherished a similar first run of Halo: Combat Evolved. I can say only this: I can't do this. Right when Cairo Station started, Elites were taking me out with no problems at all. A second in someone's line of fire, and I was dropped. So my question is how?

This thread will be similar to the one in the CE forum. I'll update my Legendary progress each time I come, and all I'm doing here essentially is asking for much-needed tips.

If you do the full run without turning off your console, you can skip ahead to The Arbiter and get the GBP skull. Then go to whatever missions you want and every grunt is a walking plasma grenade.
