I remember hearing somewhere that they are going to redo the books Fall of Reach, The Flood and The First Strike to match the Halo Reach game's plot. Did this happen and if so can someone give me link to somewhere I could order these like Amazon or something.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

The Fall of Reach and the Flood are already out, I don't know when First Strike is being re-released.

Thank you very much. I would also like to ask if these are drastically different? The Fall of Reach must be like and entirely new book but are the other two really that much different?

I just bought the new print of "The Flood" today, but have other books to read at the time. I've heard that there are minor content updates, but nothing major. There's also new cover art, as well as few canonical letters and transmissions at the end. Hope this helped.

No. The core content is pretty much the same with extremely minor edits.

All reissues also have a small section at the back of the book for a few new short stories which are very....very short.

Signatures are for squares.

Did anyone pick up the new First Strike? I'm praying they mention Jun, otherwise I'm going to have to flip on 343/Bungie again for another huge inconsistency.

I have a hard time believing that The Fall of Reach would not be very different. The Pillar of Autumn being on the ground changes the story so much.

CoD is a good game, even if the Halo series are better in some aspects. Anyone who insults either is just bad in that game. Grow up.

They simply chose to ignore that fact and just have the story as it was, with a short story added at the end. Inconsistency fail.

Personally I don't think it changes too much with a few simple edits, but either way the core content was never meant to be changed in the first place regardless of what happened in current canon. It's just a rehash of the original story that everyone loved but now with some minor edits making it the definitive version! Or rather that's how 343 sells it.

One short story at the back contradicts the core story though, and it implies the current scenario involving the Autumn was that it indeed spent its time on the ground for the duration of the battle rather than participating in the battle out in space. So there is that...
