Halo 1 & 2 for PC

I have Windows 7, by the way.

I tried installing Halo 2 for my PC, and I got the following error:

LIVE gaming on Windows failed to initialize. This may be because another LIVE gaming on Windows application (such as the Halo 2 dedicated server) is running on the same machine. Otherwise, reinstalling the game may fix this problem.

I do not have any other Windows LIVE application running, and I've tried reinstalling the game twice now. Any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate them.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

That's a fix.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Crappy Microsoft Gaming Studios is crappy.

BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I was worried about this too but I have so far had NO issues...

I installed it an hour ago on my windows 7 lab top...

It is fun but no one is on :(

I recommend installing in disconnected from the internet...

Sorry for the late replies, I've been a bit busy.

Anyway, when I try to do this and follow the steps, one says that I must type in "net stop cryptsvc" in the command prompt menu. However, it gives me an error saying "Access is Denied," rather than saying what it's supposed to say. Any ideas?
