B12.

Explain.

Vitamin B12 is essential for life, without it you can't make blood, repair nerves, or effectively replicate DNA.

Our bodies can't make B12, and the only source of B12 is in animal protein. Even the B12 found in supplements is harvested from animal sources.

I am extremely curious how one would counter this.

I believe B12 can be obtained from dairy products as well... but not a lot compared to meat.

source?-not being hostile here

Like I've been saying all throughout, we can eat meat, we are capable, but our lack of efficiency (we have the digestive system of a herbivore in most ways) suggests that we are not meant to eat meat.

So I put forth this suggestion: go graze for a week. Eat nothing but grass and plants you find growing in a field. See how far you get on that diet.

Don't know what you are talking about. I eat meat. HOurs later, what's not processed is released form my body. NOthing painful happens. And what comes out is far less than what I put in, so yes I can handle meat very efficently just like ANYONE else who eats meat REGULARLY.

If ya don't eat meant on a regualr basis, be prepared for some problems.

Source?

Yeah exactly, where's your source to prove that we are designed to eat meat?

Me. And every one else on the planet, who has CANINE teeth and has EATEN MEAT with no problem to their digestive systems.

It's been dis-proven before. We can eat meat, but not efficiently, as if we were designed to eat it, rather just so that it's an extra, in times of need (lack of a vegetarian diet available).

Compare your digestion of meat with a natural meat eating carnivore.

Now compare our digestion of vegetation with a herbivore.

One matches, one doesn't.

To be honest of a person ate accordingly then they shouldn't have any 'efficiency' problems in regards to digestions. That is follow proper food guidelines

Are you kidding me? You're making the argument, YOU SUPPLY THE SOURCE!

I didn't even make a statement!

No, you've made the assumption that I have to disprove the argument that we are designed to eat meat, but I see no source for that either.

I can eat meat with no negative repercussion; therefore, we are designed to eat meat.

No one here is arguing against eating vegetables. You are the one arguing against eating meat. You started the conversation. The burden of proof is on you.

Stop trying to force it down my throat with your PETA.

Not eating animals means you lack nutrition , sure there is alternatives like nuts , but meat is meat , the best source of plaenty.

There comes a time when no source is needed and it becomes just common sense. Its like asking "Source for Humans having eyeballs".

Its ridiculous.

If you are Christian, God put animals on the earth for a reason. To eat.
If not, then just accept that science created animals for a reason. To eat. Or to help other animals eat so we can eat them, and so on.

It doesn't make it morally correct, Christian or atheist!

Again, you provide the argument, you provide the source. And no, I'm not assuming that you have to disprove that. Right now, I'm assuming you have no idea what the hell you, nor I, am talking about.

You said it's bee proven that we are more capable of eating vegetation than meat. I asked for a source.

Omnivore. Look it up. And B12. Look that up too. You can't compare an omnivore (human) to a carnivore or herbivore because we aren't. Simple. If you can't see that, then something is not all up there.

Since the topic of the moment is 'efficiency of digestion,' go back and look at your comparisons of herbivores and carnivores. Which sounds more efficient? The one with 300% more intestines and four stomachs or the carnivore?

Irrelevant,

Compare our digestion of both vegetation and meat at the same time with a natural omnivore.

We are animals (omnivores), omnivores eat other animals. A lion doesn't contemplate the morality when comes to its next meal.

Um, if you are Christian and God put animals on Earth, to eat...then how is not morally correct, if that's the reason they were even made?

NO, NEITHER MATCH you fail to grasp this and it is pissing me off. Let me make this very clear. We do not have identical traits to carnivores or herbivores. This is because we are omnivores. Get that word through your skull.

Let me ask you. Is your survival less important than morals? Of course not. It doesn't matter how small a meal is, it is in need of survival. We need the B12 from animals to survive.
