This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option. ----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.
I just love, when Vegans make nonsense, faux scientific claims. Like humans didn't evolve to eat meat, and that therefore its unnatural.
Im sure those same people think chimpanzees, only eat bananas.
Humans, like the overwelming majority of apes, are omnivores. We evolved to eat both plants, and animals. For a time, our ancestors might have ate more of the former, and less of the latter, then most of us do. They were still omnivores.
Then we developed hunting tools. We started hunting, and eating more, and more meat. And simultaneously human diet saw an increase in protein intake. And this increase in protein intake, allowed the human brain to increase in size.
In todays society, we have some protein heavy, alternatives, to meat. But that doesn't change the fact meat was an essential part of human evolution.
The fact is, every animal humans regularly consume, have been domesticated for hundreds, even thousands of years. Through breeding, humans have created distinct species of animals, to eat. This proccess of domestication, gave these animals their existence. Without this domestication, the specific animals that we eat, with almost no exeption, would of never existed in the first place. Every mintue of pleasure they might have, in their life time, they owe to a proccess that also demands their envitable death. How can we then say this is immoral? They only exist, because we want to eat them. However, in the meantime, they are free to exist. If we didn't want to eat them, these particular animals would of never existed in the first place.
Ineffect you are saying, it is better to never exist at all. Then to be given an existence, only so years later you can be killed. I disagree. Infact, I think if you accept, thats the implication of what you've said, you would even disagree with yourself.
I strongly support finding more humane ways, to kill lifestock. But as it is now, lifestock die pretty much instantly. I further strongly support organizations that ensure the ethical treatment of lifestock. Making sure they can socialize, roam a little, that they aren't forced to sleep where they defecate, etc.
We give them their existence. We feed them. We give them shelter. Protection from the predators that would threaten them on a daily basis, if they were in the wild. They aren't constantly under threat from the elements, like their ancestors. They don't have to worry about famine, like their ancestors did. We take care of that. And in return, when they reach a ripe age, we take away their life, causing instant death.
I mean really, whats next? Are we going to start campaigning against animal slavery?
Thats not to say, you don't have the right, to become a vegan yourself, however. Thats a personal desision.
But don't make false claims, about anthropology, where you're ignorant. And don't act like you have some insurmountable moral highground, over people who eat meat.
Hey, you know why the world is going to -blam!- in general? Because even though you say we're all animals and animals eat meat, you sure lack that other thing that animals have and that's compassion.
Yeah. Lions, sharks, bears, their compassionate all right.
You really have no clue, what your talking about. Humans have a greater capacity for empathy, than any other species, on the planet. Fact.
Rabbits don't eat mice, because THEY didn't evolve to eat mice. Not because rabbits are compassionate. If Rabbits had evolved, so that eating mice was a possibility, they would, given the opportunity, assuming that they were hungry.
A rabbit will still eat a carrot, infront of another rabbit that is starving to death. Because theres scarcely any animals in the wild, with enough compassion, to surpass even your average human sociopath in that category.
And your statement about the world is a laugh. Everyone knows, that in most ways, the world is better off now, than ever. The poor of today, live like the kings of yesterday. Only those that suffer the most, suffer as much as those from centuries past. But the percentage of people in that category has gone way down. We still have a lot of room to improve, for sure. But this whole, "doomsday is imminent" mentality, is out of touch with the facts.
