This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option. ----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

And 'your common serial kiiler' is more than likely a psychopath, meaning he/she has absolutely no empathy at all.
Not all serial killers are psychopaths. The number that are is fairly significant, but its far from all of them. Its far more common, for a serial killer to have abnormally low levels of empathy. Which is what I was refering to.
Not necessarily, but it makes anything else unnecessary.
Exactly my point. They don't eat meat, because they can't.
My family have kept animals all our lives. I can say with complete confidence that that is false.
Keep in mind, animals will tend to think of their owners, as a part of their pack or herd.
Dogs for example, if they aren't trained, will often bully small children. Inorder to assume dominance over them. The first dog, out of the three I have now, used to be really mean to my little sister. Our aunt, who deals with a lot of strays, suggested the dog was assuming a position of domiance. She suggested everyone in our family, put our hands in our dogs dish, while it ate. If it backed off, it saw you as a alpha dog. If it barked or bite you, it saw you as an equal, or subordinate. We got all the way to my sister, with no problems. Then as soon as she put her hand in the dish, he bite her hand, without hesitation. It took a couple hours of training, teaching him to respect her. But he has never bite anyone since. All animals have survival instincts. Dogs will cave to an alpha dog. But if they percieve another dog, or a person, to be lower on the food chain, they won't so much as share a bowl of water with them.
Its only when dogs see their owners as the alpha dogs (and sometimes this happens without training), that they treat them with the sort of loving, loyal attitude dogs are known for.
True, although animals have no complex language, therefore you cannot be certain they would if they could accurately communicate. The same would be true of two people of differing languages.
Sure you could. I don't need to speak african, to realize an african child is starving to death. Its pretty easy to spot a person (or any animal for that matter) who is litterally dieing of starvation. Besides, one of the characteristics of empathy, is that you can understand what someone is feeling or thinking, without being told.
