there is a simply answer here people and it is that we are omnivores meaning that we are able to eat meat and plants.
we can choose to live as herboviores or vegitarions or can be meat eaters or carniviores but to be truly heathly we need both.

Correct. But crops to feed humans could be made just as easily with the same soil if people wanted it.

Who's to say that grain fit for human consumption can be grown from equally fertile soil?

Animals aren't capable of meta cognition. They don't know they're happy, they don't know they're sad, they don't know they'd rather be in an open field. Everything they do is instinctual, thus without thought.
This.

Lol, your joking right.

They aren't sentient, but they still think and most importantly they still FEEL.

Yes,, they feel pain for about 2 seconds after they get their throats cut, then pass out and die. Its not as if we're dragging them by their utters across a rocky plain at 35 mph. We give them a quick death.

I've linked a video earlier showing how cruel we are and what we do to them.

Back on the subject of Humans not meant to be eating meat.....

We humans have sharp teeth in the front of our mouths for cutting through meat. It makes it easy to eat and swallow. Our bodies can digest the meat and we can gain nutritional value.

Humans also have one more trait that traces back to carnivores. Our eyes. Our eyes are facing forward like a wolf or a lion. All carnivores have there eyes facing forward to hunt. Herbivores have there eyes on the sides of their skulls so they may watch out for hunting carnivores stalking up behind them. We most likely evolved from a carnivorous species long ago.

That is why it is natural for us to eat meat. No matter how advanced we get, we will always have instincts.

This is exactly what I was going to post next. Our brain wouldn't have grown this big with out meat. So we really were evolved to eat meat.

When we're talking about innocent animals lives, the fact that they are simply not always treated as they should be, how livestock release greenhouse gas, and how there would not be a single child starving today if most people were vegetarian, it's simply offensive and frankly annoying to say something as ignorant as 'what other justification could I possibly need for eating meat other than it tasting good and me enjoying it' to a vegetarian.

It's not my fault if someone's a vegetarian. ;)

Oooh Underdog, you devil XD

Success is just going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm.

What? Humans are omnivores, we can eat meat and plants, I don't know about this 'not designed to'.

And animals eat each other all the time, that's what predators and carnivores do.

THE GAME

all this vegan -blam!- -blam!- is just de-animalizing humans, you see lions killing Zebra's on animal planet, but nobody complains, and they have a horrible painful death, we are animals, just more evolved. Although, i do agree that I don't agree with some of the "tactics" of slaughtering animals.

Lies. I live in a city with a slaughterhouse. 5000 cattle die a day there. I have no problem with it.

They kinda showed the worst of the farming industry. There are farms out there that properly treat, raise, and slaughter their animals. I would never buy into PETA...

So I think Jun's a master chef, because he takes off his helmet and your like whoa, I think he's a chef.

So to shorten this up, Jun is master chef.

I have never once in my life seen a valid argument for why we should not eat meat. Why we shouldn't eat factory farmed meat that's stuffed with corn and GMOs? Sure. However, there is no good reason to not eat meat at all. Give me one and I'll sacrifice myself so that an animal and its family can have a meal.

You wouldn't like me killing your mother and just saying it was because I like killing, even if it's just a personal life choice of mine?

By nature we're omnivores, I'd just make sure you're not eating mass produced meat foods. That's where the problem lies.

Eating meat, eating veggies, murder.

One of these things is not like the other. One of these things does not belong.
