I haven't noticed any gameplay glitches with it, but the damn thing won't fill up my 16x9 screen no matter what I do. I'm a bit disappointed. Halo was the first thing I put in the 360 when I hooked it up just because I wanted to see it in full 720p and 16x9, but sadly they didn't get the widescreen to work. I'm not sure why they promised this a few weeks ago. Bungie or Microsoft or somebody dropped the ball somewhere.
Halo 2 works fine and looks great, except I can't play on Xbox Live. I need the maps that weren't included with the original game, so I have to go to content download. It emulates the original Xbox for this part too but I can't do anything because it keeps telling me to plug a controller into control port 1 (which doesn't exist on the 360). So long story short, I can't play Halo 2 on Xbox Live on the 360. They dropped the ball again.
I know they can fix this with software updates, but will they? I hope so. This isn't full backwards compatibility if you ask me.
