I am getting sick and tired of seeing how much the Halo PC Community accuses others for using an aimbot. This might be surprising to people out there (You know who you are) that diss Halo 2 PC, but, I see it more on the original Halo. The only reason I'm telling the story I am posting after this is because on Halo 2 you can see Hit percentages:
Well, I got on Halo 2 just a moment ago and as soon as I dropped in someone was being accused of using an aimbot. First person I fought against was said person. The first shot he took, he completely missed me. In fact, he missed a few times, but, over all, in Halo 2's standards, he was pretty good. I defended him (Being someone who has been accused many times of the same thing) in saying he wasn't using one. The guy kept ranting and if I wouldn't have been there, he would have been banned from the server.
His Shots Hit Percentage was 42%. There was even someone else that had a higher percentage than he had.
What I'm trying to say is: If you're on Halo 1 or 2 PC and someone is killing you so badly you feel as though it's your first time playing, don't immediately accuse them of cheating. They might actually just be good. Don't make accusations without actual evidence.
(P.S. If you consider the Aim Assist from using a controller to be cheating/an aimbot, it's not. A mouse is a much better aiming device and the aim assist tries to improve the controller's ability to put it on par with a mouse. I play console Halo as well and I've played Halo 2 with a 360 controller. I'm far better with the KB/M)
