How dow artificial gravity work.
I dont mean spinning a cyllindrical tube or anything like that. I mean how does it work, or would it work on say Anchor 9 or a Unsc Frigate?

My guess is that, since air has weight, You would put in a regular circulation system, but pump it full of nontoxic particles to hep add more weight to the air overall. (That probably won't work, don't take my word for it)

OR invent a way to make something superdense, giving it it's own gravitational pull. You'd just have to then put it at the center of a ship, creating a gravity field around that ship/station. This would glue everyone to the floor.

If that object is somehow destroyed, it would release the pull of gravity. If it is too dense, it would draw everything inside towards the center, forming a very mini black hole.

Halo is one of the most important part of my life.

Simply the air makes atmosphere but for it to work it must be on a close enviroment,

Gravity is an effect like magnetism. But it works on all things, not just metal, the way magnets do.

So, just like we generate magnetism with electromagnets, the covenant and UNSC can generate gravity fields. They run power through something in the floors that makes the gravity above them. More power more gravity. Run it in the other direction, and you get anti-gravity, there aren't any thrusters holding the covenant ship in the air.

As told in the last reply to your post, electromagnetism would be humanity's best bet at anti-gravity. There are tests being done in Arizona by a professor to create a super-conducting magnet in the hopes of making anti-grav. Don't have time to find the link but I am pretty sure you can find it online...

Magnetism can work on things other than metal is the field is strong enough. Here is an example of a frog being levitated by a super strong magnetic field.

I agree. The most likely option for artificial gravity would be, for humans in the 26th century at least, some sort of magnetically operated system. Unless some sort of miracle material is developed between now and then that achieves either superdensity, or the ability to manipulate gravity by active rather than passive means, magnetic-based "gravitation" is the most likely solution.

How they stop the adverse effects of such a system if beyond me.

Of course, if they were actually generating a gravity field, then there is really no way to explain that, since the technology, and basic understanding of the principles behind it, for that matter, does not exist.

Artificial gravity works by this:

A super heated liquid super conductor (most likely mercurial based) is put in a donut shaped tube.

This super conductor is liquid and normally has a multi-color sheen to it although an exact chemical formula has not been published for it. Nasa and the US government has created some version of it, but it is on the down low.

Electricity conducting material is looped all around the donut tube and used to power electromagnets all around the tube.

These electro-magnets go off and on in a sequence that causes the highly dense liquid within the tube to begin to "swirl" or move quickly in one direction in the tube.

As this increases the dense liquid begins to manipulate the space around it causing the object to lift or anti-gravity. This last part has to do with some fairly advanced physics which I don't care to explain.

This has been tested small scale by NASA and although it was observed to be true they said the effect was too minor to be useful.

Though others argue that it become exponentially more powerful the larger the ring and Nasa's was far too small (it was quite tiny actually), but I offer no comment.

In the Halo World:

Probably plasma thrusters or some stuff.
