Can you play Halo 2 online with an Xbox 360? Just wondering. I'm a newbie to Live.

Halo 2 for Life!

Xbox live was updated a while ago that removed all old games off it's service.

Live = no online Halo 2.

You can play online though using your Xbox 360, but only through Connect or Kai.

They are services that are not easy to gain access to unless you know how to network or know modems really good.

All it took was a stew of whoopass.

I still want to know what MS wanted that caused them to shut down the old Xbox service.

It probably just cost too much money to keep it running

For Carnage Apply Within - We played Marathon before Marathon was cool!

Keep it authentic...

They wanted the servers so they can run kinect and the most recent Xbox 360 dashboard.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Bigger friends list, new live voice codec, other service improvements.

Oh, and the xbox 1 servers were mostly empty.

True, even still the live upgrades suck so far. It wasn't worth the sacrifice. I'd rather have the ability to play my old xbox games on live with my old friends then have a bigger friends list, new voice codec, etc.
