You just lost the game. Now facepalm yourself for clicking this :P

Has any one ever thought that this story from Halo Evolutions was kind of scary and creepy? I was reading it at night and could barely sleep!
Questions, comments, concerns?

I thought it was a great way to bring the horror-ish genre to the Halo universe. The suspense near the beginning was pretty exciting as well.

If you liked the story, you'll probably be excited to hear that it's being made into a motion comic for Halo Waypoint sometime next year.

... I have a tendency to lose my passwords...

Aren't they supposed to be making a motion comic of this story? Or was I hallucinating a trailer?

(Thank you commenter above, apparently I am sane)

What you experienced is one of the main reasons why I enjoyed Evolutions so much. The authors of the short stories managed to create very vivid imagery. This is something that is difficult to do on the level that they pulled off in Evolutions.

The stories were also some of the most compelling in the entire Halo universe, really expanding it to new levels. Overall, I thought it was a brilliantly crafted anthology.

I read it at around 12 AM and boy did it make me look out into the dark hallway. The story was great; full of suspense and excitement.

Henry can have my ice cream =)

Poor Henry, if he survived at the end he will be executed, but if he dies that makes me sad.

Drip drop, slice and chop, chase the rabbit, Hop! Hop! Hop! Run away, I don’t care, I will find you anywhere :)

It was great, I loved it. The beginning was very on edge, even though you know the whole time it's the flood. And the ending was good also, even though it is extremely unlikely that either one of them got out.

Dark Neptune, a young amateur astronomer whose gaming life is no different from other teenagers of his age, though he controls it more strictly then others.

That was the most thrilling Halo story I have ever read.

1/2 through it (or was it 3/5?), I thought, "WTF how long is this 'short story' supposed to last? OMG. *Continues reading*"

I still wished they gave us an exact time the events occured, and what really happened at the end.

i know what you mean, but what makes no sense is that the motion comic was supposed to come out this fall (of 2010) so i waited till then but wtf it hadn't come out yet, so i guess they meant it to come out in fall of 2011

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

It was great. It reminded me alot of Dead Space.

It'd be awesome if we could have a game like what was shown in the Mona Lisa in the Halo Universe...

I'm sure it's happend to the Covenant more than once...

It was by far the best "Thriller" story in the book and in Halo.
I loved it and I can't wait till they come out with the Motion Comic on Halo Waypoint.

The Razor.

For the honour of the Mirratord.

It was a great story, one of the best in Evolutions. It gave the Flood genuine horror again (they haven't been scary since Halo: CE) and had some great action and reasonably good character work (could have been better though).

However, I thought that it was far too long and the actual story line was rather weak; it was basically a re-hash of Alien in the Halo universe.

The ending was brilliant though. But the best stories in Evolutions (in my opinion) are Human Weakness, Headhunters and The Impossible... yeah, I'm not typing that title out.

This story basically brought me back to the Library, with a lot of suspense, and scary flood.
