Every time I finish downloading the halo pc game, I click on my computer, then I click, play game, THEN it says "this program needs to close" why? I downloaded it right, could there be a virus on my other pc? (i'm on my laptop now, the other, dell, computer is the one I use for games)

I hope that by 'download', you mean 'install'...

What are your system specs? Have you updated video card drivers? Just fill in all the details and I could help.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

What version of the game are you trying to play? The demo or full version?
If it's the full version, then I hope you are blacklisted for pirating.
If it is the demo then you need to install it before you can play the game.
Also, along with the guy above me, we need to know your specs before we can guess what is wrong.

Oh, by the way, if you downloaded the full version then it is very likely you got a virus, and you probably have a version of the game that won't play due to missing a CD key and other stuff. I have seen other people that downloaded the full version and it won't even install due to an error.

I mean install, and I bought it at Wall mart. well I installed it on my pc, but mainly, I think my pc has a bug / virus And the worst part is i'm on my laptop because my (other) Dell computer is bugged, wait that is not all, the Dell pc can't get online it shutsdown by itself first ,and I have the proper (viedo,ect...) cards. So now what? ps. I had the virus in the first place.

Ok, glad that's cleared up.

Try these methods to try to fix it.
An easy one to start with is to reinstall the game.
Also, are you trying to launch it through the CD? There should be an icon on your desktop, so try launching it through that icon.

What model is your other PC, and who makes it?
It sounds like you have a pretty bad virus.
Download this program and burn it to a CD. Then go onto your other PC and install it without hooking up to the internet. Then run a virus scan and it should remove the virus.
In the mean time, let me do some checking on that virus to find out which one it is because a friend of mine had it or one similar to it a while back.

EDIT:
Also download this tool and burn it to the CD. Then run it also on the infected PC.

Honestly dude we need to know what ur computer has. The best of the best doesnt tell us much. If you dont know how to tell just right click on "My Computer" and tell us how much ram you have. And if its a virus thats the problem cant you just download Norton or something? And get rid of it?

I'll just make a new post about the info I found.
You have the sasser worm.
Go here and download the removal tool. Then burn it to the CD along with the other two and run it immediatly on the other PC. That should solve the problem, so try doing that before installing the other two programs.

I know this is some thing you won't want to do, but maybe you can just reinstall windows xp and that might remove the viruses (that's what I do if I can't remove viruses). Well, I should've posted this later, but hopefully, you should have Halo working now.

Indeed, put an XP cd in your cd-rom and reformat the hard drive. It's a last resort, as it completely scrubs it of any data it once held, but it's an end all to problems and is good to do every once in a while to keep your system running smoothly.

Specs! We need them! Best of the best is an FX-57 and dual 7800GTX's - I don't think you have those :P

Before reinstalling XP try those tools I gave you with the removal tool first. One of those 3 should work, so there is probably no reason to reinstall XP.
