Who is the most Bad Ass Character in Halo: Reach?

"Find where the liar hides, so that I may place my boot between his gums!" - Rtas 'Vadum

I would be inclined to say Emile, because that was the obvious intention. Though to be honest I really did not connect with any of the Reach characters, other than Jorge. I wouldn't say Jorge was badass though, but more Noble.

Yeah, I liked Jorge. He was cool for some reason. I guess because he actually showed emotion, unlike any other spartan really had throughout Halo.

you are a good translator

"Were it so easy..." -Thel Vadame.

Jorge, the good ol' Spartan II. I felt attachment to his character. He showed emotion and had a unique personality that stood out to me. Honorable, brave, etc.

Carter is a douche to Halsey and Kat is freaking annoying, Six doesn't exist, Jun is only noticed for his accent, but Emile is the only other Noble Spartan that I actually like parallel to Jorge.

Fight to the end, and give it your all.

Definetly Jorge. I actually felt connected to him compared to the other characters. When Jorge died, a little bit of me died inside.

Iceclaw1421: Those are actually some great points, you seem pretty dead on, IMO. I Agree.

Gasung617: Alittle bit of everybody died when Good Ol' Jorge died...

Jorge, because he killed thousands of Covenant with the ending of his life.

I like Dr. Halsey. When I play a game, I try to look for the character that is smart and knows how to fix problems.

'Lieutenant! You gotta get aboard!' ~random marine.

'Negative. I have the gun.` ~Noble Six.

Thats why Six is the biggest badass, without him there would be no Halo: CE.

Emile and Jorge both get honorable mentions:
Emile for that final kill. (Who the hell survives a Sword wound?!? Not Master Chief)
Jorge for just being the character we all loved. (And taking out 13 million Covies helped :P)

Well Jun is pretty awesome, and its thought he died defending Halsey so he probably had to kick some major ass.

Gravemind.

Think about it.

Every living thing in existence is trying to kill you, and your just a imobile lump. He actually lives, and gets enough flood to kick an entire galaxys ass, the forerunners, and almost us.

He's a damn genius, think about it: Every word he speaks is in a rhyme, a peom. People spend days writing one small peom, yet the grave mind can improvise every damn word at a moments notice, do you know how intelligent something has to be to do that?

That, and he can never really die, as long as some flood exist somewhere, he can come back.

No holds bar killing!

Well that depends, Noble Six does have a pretty awesome death, but when I am playing, usually the random Zealots win in any fight!

Carter. Even though he was rude to Halsey, he was still epic. He looked cool, fought well, and saved me 5 minutes of my time from fighting a scarab.

And the reason he was rude was because Halsey was replacing his orders with something else, then made the Noble Team part of ONI. If it was you, you would of acted the same way.

My jokes, so I don't lose them (ignore this):
ZedFish's Opinion on Sgt. Foley.
ZedFish's Forerunner Rickroll.

The Zealots do kick some ass in Reach.

'They' kill Six and Emile, the other two that I would recommend "specially-formulated shoe polish for ass smell".

I don't understand why everyone thinks of Jorge as badass. Yes, he was a heavy weapon specialist, and it does take a lot of power in battle to survive as long as he did, but his death was not exactly a badass moment. It was a moment of generosity and emotion. He set off the slipspace bomb so Six could return to Reach. A Spartan showing emotion would be loved by people, but it does not make for a badass character. Does it mean he can't have emotion if he wants to be badass? No. But sacrificing himself to save his teammate wasn't what made him badass.

OT: For me, it would be tough choice between Noble Six and Carter.

EDIT: That doesn't mean I hate Jorge, I'm just proving a point.

Jun didn't die while defending Halsey. Bungie confirmed it was Sheila.
