im sick of everything i post being moved or removed. there isnt like some huge easy to read post right here saying do this here and dont do this. your rules are fine print and fourty pages long. rather than carefully and politly correct me, you use your authority to censor and edit me. in five days ive been ignored, deleted, and thouroughly aggravated. out of the admins i talked ot for help in different areas, ive had one positive helpful encounter (yoozul). but now im finished. i WAS looking forward to becoming a part of this community, but your (an indescript generalization becase i dont even know how many admins there are) way to zealous with your authority. how about a three line msg telling me that youve moved and cancelled my poll, and why and what to do... i wasted some time based on that. i wanted to see the results. this has left a very bad taste in my mouth for this site, and its sad, because as i already mentioned i was really looking forward to being here. thanks anyway bungie, but im moving on.you wont see any posts or comments from me anymore.

So in the few days you are here, your posts have been moved, locked, deleted and cancelled?

I suddenly don't expect too much from you... :S

I say: read the rules. Even if it is long.
Read the forum desciptions, even though they can be a tad vague.
Ask the mods what you have done wrong.

Could you give some examples of your locked or moved threads?

Forum Rules.
FAQ.
I'm certifiable.

I wish we were way too zealous; we'd have a lot fewer problem posts out there.

As it is, we just don't have time to do a lot of one-on-one; a quick note and back to the forum is (aside from time stolen to post our own stuff, because we're fans too) all we can afford. Besides, the forum rules for each forum are posted as "sticky" posts, and us Moderators have links to the general Forum Rules in our signatures. (I think we all do... but certainly most of us.)

-- Steve'll also note that messages are either PMed or attached to the locked/moved threads... make sure to check both. And feel free to email the moderators at the address below if you have any questions.

The rules are one page long and easy to read, his name is Yoozel, and if you've cause this much trouble for yourself in only five days then you're probably better off leaving anyway.

Now now. We should be encouraging him to stay and try to work well in the community. The addition of a helpful member, is better than leaving things the way they are.

I for one wish the mods would be more active in removing useless threads.

They are doing a great job, but there is a lot of useless threads still.

Translation: I'm too lazy to read the rules and demand that you hand feed the rules to me as I break them.

Sorry. That's not how it works. There's a key on every page of the forums that tells you what topic each forum is for. There's a sticky in each forum to tell you what the rules for that forum are. The most obvious rule listed is "Use common sense." Ironically, common sense dictates that you read the rules. The paradox of the situation is actually what makes it my favorite rule.

That's exactly what I got out of it as well.

The rules aren't long. They are easily understood. Most of them are simply common sense. I just don't get why people have such a hard time following them.

dude, you pulled a jesus!

I didn't even read the rules. Most of the things that break the rules are thing that you would think are common sense.* don't insult or spam* make threads that are on-topic (varies depending on the forum in question.

If you just follow these rules, then you're ready to begin. The rest of the rules you gather as you go along... except the one that says now threads about a certain lumpy snack... I never would have guessed that one.

If you think about that one, though, it makes sense. I mean, would you really want to be involved in a conversation about that certain lumpy snack? I sure as hell wouldn't.

You really should read the rules before posting. Most are common sense, but there are some that you wouldn't know about unless you read about them (such as our stance on political posting).

You know THIS is a waste of time to me and everyone else out there. If you are too lazy to read the rules, I don't think you should be here. You agreed the the "Terms of Service" and I'm pretty sure I stated that you will follow ALL rules. In my opinion Bungie has lost nothing except time on your sensless babling.

P.S. It's kind of pathatic that you blame the administration about your laziness.
