my question is why did they have to take his armor off?i know they put a symbol on his chest but, thats disturbing.and none of the covenant had a problem with having a naked elite around.if anyone ever thought of this please reply.

They wanted to inflict as much pain as possible, Installation 04 was destroyed on his watch by the Humans. They wanted to carve the mark of shame on to him to dishonor him for all eternity for his failure to protect their religions most sacred object.

I suppose there wouldn't be a much worse way to dishonor, embarrass, and humiliate someone than to strip them down to nothing, march them around in front of everyone, then burn something into their chest.

Eh, I don't buy that, XGO. Arbiter did what the Brutes couldn't and then stuck it to the new Covenant. Along the way he killed 'Refumee and rolled over the Flood. I think he was a bad blam. Was sorry to see him reduced to Dom with a weird face for 3. Such a cool character and storyline relegated to being Chief's Danny Glover. I guess he did kill Truth...
