In time, the tru7h will be revealed.

Yes i know this type of thread has been made many times before, but i just wanted to share my insight, and hear some other ideas. so, here's my idea:

"Per audacia ad astra" means "To boldly go into the stars." Going into the stars obviously meaning into the space, and boldly going, typical of good old Bungie, probably refers to something spectacular and amazing. Now, space is referred to as "the final frontier" meaning the last unexplored, unclaimed area. So, in my mind, Bungie is saying that, with this new Aerospace engine, they are going to do what no one has done before. Cross the line. Go where no developer has gone before. Venture into a new, unexplored area. And they will do so in the most spectacular way ever seen. Bungie is declaring that they are basically going to create something completely new and totally, blindingly amazing. This is just my insight anyway. Please share your ideas too.

I think that it's the working title for their new I.P. While the name of the game may change, the engine, if currently dubbed "Aerospace," will retain that name.

I believe that it hints toward their next game. From what I've gathered, supported by the Aerospace website and the apparel sold in the Bungie Store, I would say that it's a first person shooter [possibly with RPG elements], or an RTS with more colonization overtones than violent ones.

Anyway, that's just my take on it.

Interesting idea, I never thought of Aerospace as being an engine rather than an actual game.

I would love an shooter with rpg undertones from Bungie. Bioware is dominating that field. I'm a huge fan of both companies but it'd be nice to have some competition in that genre.

Yeah. I think its a new engine for future games since I can't see Bungie making a game with a name like Aerospace. But, if they are, this might just be a placeholder name, like Halo ODST had a placeholder of Halo Recon. Also, looking at the aerospace logo , I really can't see this being the cover for a game. Or maybe it is both. Maybe Bungie is making a new game, with this new aerospace engine. only Bungie knows for now.

I stated this many time. Why would Bungie make t-shirts with the name of an engine on it?

A little thing called promotion? Aerospace is the only information we have right now, and the only thing to promote.

I personally don't think it's an engine, but a codename, such as what Blam! was to Halo.

Exactly. They can't make T-Shirts with "The Next Upcoming Game Called Super Alien Shooter" written on it with screenshots on the back.

Yea but not of a game engine. It just... does't make sense, it's not like normal people are going to go out and buy the source code of it.

I don't think thats a legit site, seems like a fan made thing.

Aerospace is air space inside earth's atmosphere, not space space outside of the earth.

I didn't mean its definitely an engine. I just had an idea about how to connect the Latin phrase to the idea of an Aerospace engine. Only Bungie knows what it really is. Ant they certainly aren't telling.

It looks like a Puma?!?

I've always thoguth Aerospace had to do with being in space, for example Aerospace is: Aerospace comprises the atmosphere of Earth and surrounding space. Typically the term is used to refer to the industry that researches, designs, manufactures, operates, and maintains vehicles moving through air and space. Aerospace is a very diverse field, with a multitude of commercial, industrial and military applications.

When you go on www.bungieaerospace.org you will see a timer and the word Tru7h. If you click on the 7 in Tru7h, then you will be brought back to www.bungie.net

It could be a codename, a way to promote the upcoming assault on what it's to be released upon, a game or game engine, heck, what else?

I'd place my bets on an engine with a new way of gaming or a new game [series] altogether. I'm just only assuming, don't get me wrong, but it's possible to be any of what we're stating.
