Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Compared to other console RTS's, it's not bad. Compared to PC RTS's, it's pretty crappy. The story was a mess too, and the characters were pretty boring.

If you're like me and you haven't played many RTSs, then you will either hate it or love it. I for one was very pleased with it, but I will say that it did not last 3 years like a usual halo title. I would definately suggest atleast renting it.

I heard someone say once (paraphrasing here) "Multiflag on Blood Gulch with your friends is what makes Halo, Halo." I GUARANTEE that more people agree with that sentiment than "Getting a 50 in MLG is what makes Halo, Halo." - Oboewan42

Beautiful cutscenes...that's it.

Signatures are for squares.

Amazing for a console RTS, flawless controls.
Amazing cinematics.

It's fun for awhile, worth it in my opinion.

Terrible game.

So that's how it is. You all ought to know better than that.

I would recomend renting it. If you do buy it, buy a used copy, they cost much less. Consols don't do well with RTS or vise versa. It's hard to make work, but they did somehow. Most people who play computer RTS don't like it, but that is more subjective and opinion. That considered, it was all right.

Escalators don't break, they just become stairs.

I had fun and its like 20 bucks. Buy it used for cheaper and sell it if you don't like it.

I'm agent Nahman Jayden, eff-bee-eye.

It's baby's first RTS.

Too simple for an RTS, but too complicated for the average Halo fan.

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

I haven't regretted buying it. The campaign was a little overhyped and there isn't any covenant/rebel viewpoint, but the rest is pretty good.
Just don't play matchmaking without friends or you'll be destroyed by rushers.

Giggity Giggity Goo - Quagmire

It is okay for a console RTS. It would have probably of been a better choice to at least make a PC version of it.

I really liked it. The cinematics were great and the gameplay was good for a console RTS. Not as good as something like Age of Empires but then that is right up at the top.
