MULTIPLAYER IS MISSING 1 THING (Bungie take a listen):

Each player/team should have their own ARMADA OF COVENANT - poor souls who have been brainwashed into thinking YOU'RE their one single friend, and are willing to go head-to-head against your enemies.

In the set-up menu, you should be able to assign general behaviors to each member of the team:
1. Follow with you, and protect you (i.e. attack anything that attacks you)
2. Follow with you, and advance against enemies when they come into proximity
3. Roam aimlessly and attack your enemies when they come into proximity
CTF:
4. Protect the flag, and follow/attack whomever takes it
5. Protect home base
6. Attack the enemies' base

So in a typical Red vs. Blue match, each team might have 5 grunts, 2 elites and 1 hunter (for example). Or an army of 20 grunts on a terrain level - stand back and watch them go head to head.

Or in Slayer, you've got 2 elites and 4 jackals, whatever tickles your fancy. They hitch rides on vehicles, follow you through portals, obey your every whim.

Then add some flood (that fall down through hatches or enter portals at regular intervals) and you've got a multi-player RIOT on your hands.

Ok maybe there are limits to processor power, but you guys gotta admit this would be cool...
