Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

What kind of slot does he have? PCI or AGP?
Either way it should run it ok, but I would reccomend getting a Radeon 9600 or better if he has an AGP slot.

My Dell 4600 has an agp slot and I bought an ATI Radeon 9600. Huge improvements over the stock card, but I'm not sure if the 2400's have agp slots.

No, the 2400s don't. They only have regular PCI slots.

A 5500 will run it, but not well. Halo doesn't perform that great on the GeForce 5 series of cards. Active camo won't look very good, and I've heard that specular is kind of crappy on them. Other than that it should run at 800x600 with most settings enabled to at least low/medium.
