Got pork?

You obviously haven't met my younger brother then.

Kat is Russian, Jorge is Hungarian, and Jun is...somewhere in Asia. And Emile has that Black accent.

i thought Jorge was something of a British-Welsh type, just a heavy accent

Jorge IS English, just knows more than one language...

EDIT: You say there are many British but it's very hard recruiting them these days, most of my friends are all playing COD. Hardly anyone I know plays Halo. Infact my clan (I think) is only one of the handful of English clans out there.

Kat's voice actor is Israeli. Makes Kat a Mossad agent.

If Jorge is English why is his name spelled wrong?
This is some ghetto mother who has little understanding of our language... theres no ghetto's in England we all live in castles and are considerably richer and superior than you.^^

Every pen they tried to give to Jorge was too small for him to use. Eventually the only way they could get him to write his name was by shooting bullets into a wall, which made his name end up looking like "JORGE" instead of "GEORGE".

Looking at the Halo universe, it's unlikely most of the characters or just random soldiers are actually from Earth.

They have just inherited the accents from whoever may of colonised certain planets.

Jorge for instance, his name is spelt in a way that is commonly hispanic, speaks Hungarian but has an English accent.

Who the hell came up with Kat being Russian? Really? Since when did 'Nada' meaning 'No' in Spanish/Spanish derivatives sound even remotely Russian? Jun is clearly Asian, despite the fact that he is voiced by someone of Middle Eastern descent. Jorge is Hungarian [Born on a predominately Hungarian sector of Reach] who is voiced by a man of African descent. As for the presence of other nationalities, the Spartans and farmers were the only ones I found. This Halo was comparatively sparse compared to the other games when it comes to dialects/accents. In fact all the marines sounded and looked the same O.O Very little variety in models or voice actors.

Regardless, in the future, not everyone will speak one language [presumably] it is indeed a melting pot of cultures.
