A Carbine is a manual fire high power projectile weapon, an M-1 Garand is the best example I can think of. Use more than two braincells people.

okay if your going to say stupid -blam!- don't say anything at all. The covenant flagship that rocked human -blam!-ps in one hit sused a consentrated beam of energy not a projectile

Not many 11 years old know very much about the M-1 Garand. I guess an M-4 is a more modern example of the Carbine.

Oh, and if we look at the way you type, you look way younger than 11 my friend.

There is no way the armor is based off elites because when they first got it, they had never even met a live covenant they had only seen their ships, and when they got the shileded version they still had not met elites

It's certainly possible, the Covenant have been fighting the Humans for some 20-odd years. You'd think that they would copy at least some of the Human's superior ground technology.

Yes, calling some one a child, the classic online forum insult. Anyway...the carbine, as I said is probably a high powered manually fired projectile weapon. It is not based of human technology most likley, as that would be a terrible sin in their eyes. However they probably saw how effective such weapons are and used Forerunner technology to slap one together.

You're missing the point. It's not like they stole an M-1 from a museum and copyied it. It's the closest example I can think of that a carbine is.

I'm 22 by the way, which I guess is still kind of a child. Or at least I still act like one.

We really don't know how much ammunition the SMGs have. We can assume that they have at least 30 bullets. But they must likley have 60 or higher.
