AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Socket 939

ATI Radeon X800 XL PCI-E

512mb Corsair ValueRam (Just one stick, not 2x256mb)

80 GB WD 7200RPM Hard Drive

MSI Socket 939 ATI Radeon XPRESS 200P AMD Mainboard.

Seriously, I think my system is good, but can it run Halo at all High Settings with just 1024x768 Res?

Yeah that's a money setup. Should run at max settings at that resolution. Yuo should be real happy with that.

basicaly my setup, but I still need to get my ram. I'm using the crap from my old dell right now. You will be fine, 70-110 fps at all times.

oh - one thing.

make sure you go into the settings and check that gore is on. I played halo by myself for the first time on pc, and gore was off for some reason. Really ruined the tension of 343GS

Real nice. What type of computer is it (company)? I have an alienware, it works like a dream. P.S. Are you in my clan, the Darth clan?

It's custom built, and no, I'm not in any clans.

that will run halo perfectly, and probably at even higher resolution than 1024X768

i got an athlon xp 2000+ and a radeon 9600 XT and i get 50-70 fps with vsync at 1024X768 running max options, so youre fine

although i do have a gig of ram, but it shouldnt make a diff in this case

You'll run Halo at max settings, probably with AA/AF, around 70 or 80 fps. The X800XL is a very nice card. I'd say 1 gig of RAM would be nice for other games, but Halo won't ever need more than 512MB.

Actually, what's better an X800 XL or an X800 PRO/XT?

XL is better than the pro, and XT is better than XL.
