Hoping to find a few others that are still looking to get these, being I cant find a single game online.. looking to get a game going 4:30 central time this - changed date.

Due to a couple others dropping out I changed the date to April 14th to give enough time to find enough players.. if we find 3 more before then we will go sooner provided everyone is ok with it.

This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Ugh I guess I will give you all some insight since I know most of you just want the 1000/1000 and will probably nevr halo Halo 2 Vista again.

Rainman - is by far the most time consuming to get. Just create a variant called "Achievements" then host it in a custom game lobby. All the achievement kids will be running in, you should probably do it on a weekend as H2V is pretty dead. Get 4 four players total that are willing to spend 45mins or so. After you got your group of randoms, CLOSE THE LOBBY. You must play every variant of every gametype. Just set the goals down as low as possible...1 Kill for Slayer, 1 cap for CTF, 30 secs for Territories, etc. Pick a small map like Middy or Warlock and breeze through all the game variants. Make sure each game completes and no one quits out.

Decorated Soldier - everybody gets confused when they can't unlock it because they think Double Kill, Triple Kill, Killtacular, etc. are all different medals. A multi-kill is one medal so here are the medals u need:
Double Kill, Killing Spree, Hijack, Splatter, Sniper Kill, Stick Kill, Beat Down and Assassinate. Must be a Free-For-All game!

Violent Cartographer - Play every default map until the end of each game. This should not be too hard at all.

Hey, I'm TetriS/r4v3n/Ryx. I've been modding Halo 1 pc since late 2008-2009, and playing Halo 2 Vista since summer of 2010. If you need any help with Halo 1 modding, just ask; I haven't modded in a while but I remember most of it.

I'm always up for a h2v game; message i4Ni TetriS and I'll get back to you.

For violent cartographer, just make an ffa slayer that has 1 kill to win. Do that on every map, and viola in about 20 minutes.

Oh, and set the lowest possible time limit. I believe it is 30 seconds.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

Go to trueachievements.com
Join a session and add like-minded player.

If that's unsuccessful go to x360a and go to the Halo 2 PC forum. On the Boosting list, other players with similar interest are there.

Good Luck.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

achievement
-noun
1. something accomplished, especially by superior ability, special effort, great courage, etc.l a great or heroic deed; his remarkable achievements in art.

Take a step back. Ever wonder why you need a game to aim for you? Is it because you're not willing to take the time to learn to do it for yourself. Could it be because you don't believe you have what it takes to accomplish some little task in a video game? Things like this cascade into other parts of life. An achievement usually isn't effortless. I think people really need to take a step back and see how much they're watering down society by cheating their way through games, med school exams, relationships. This may sound funny, but cheating in games could be bridge to all sorts of worse things later on. Boosting is cheating. Make a stronger effort and rally enough people to get these Live achievements legitimately. Don't start down the path of deception. I will now go take my meds. Don't forget the above definition. Don't be something you aren't. When you are, be proud of it.

It's a video-game.
People also have there own choice. Just offering a solution for those who need help finding players who want to do the same.

I hardly think achievements like

"Kill a player with AL"

=

"something accomplished, especially by superior ability, special effort, great courage, etc.l a great or heroic deed; his remarkable achievements in art."

Chillax.

U jelly that you can't complete your own achievements?

I'm fine with your opinion on the matter but acting as if your a better person and attempting to educate others on how you would like things to be done shows a great deal of disrespect.

The matter is subjective, your opinion does not carry the same weight as fact.

Your lack of humility is pathetic.

I would rather spend 10 minutes of my day completing the required achievement task then spending a month of my life doing it on and off.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

He is right, though. It's not like we can expect console kiddies to understand, but those points basically don't matter when you don't get them legit. You're basically pretending to achieve something instead of achieving something. You're a failure, a complete fraud, and a mockery to those who have any sort of decency in multiplayer gaming. What you guys are doing here, honestly, is akin to aimbotting. Essentially, that means that every petty insult that you just laid into n357 is what you're guilty of. Though it was interesting to see Freud's theory of projection in a forum post yet again, it might be time for you to move along and continue to pretend you're something you're not; good.

Heis right, though. It's not like we can expect console kiddies to understand, but those points basically don't matter when you don't get them legit.
Okay, I'm a console kiddie on the Halo:PC forums. You clearly know my age and my gaming system preference, you are free to insult me with it [ahhhh it burns]
Does the achievement description describes it as illegitimate
to find 5 or 6 other players who want to play all the maps and gametypes in one gaming session?

Please don't lecture me on the legitimacy of how to achieve a multiplayer achievement.

You're basically pretending to achieve something instead of achieving something. You're a failure, a complete fraud, and a mockery to those who have any sort of decency in multiplayer gaming.

Oh snap, I got a friend to help me get a achievement to play every available default map and stay in each game until it is over looks like i'm a fraud, a mockery and i don't have any decency in multiplayer gaming. I is failz

What you guys are doing here, honesty, is akin to aimbotting.
Crap, i'm a haxxors, I always wanted to have a advantage over other players due to outside manipulation. So that's cool by me yo :)

Essentially, that means that every petty insult that you just laid into n357 is what you're guilty of.
Guilty as charged :/

Though it was interesting to see Frued's theory of projection in a forum post yet again
Yes, I'm clearly projecting. I mean I find it impossible to get achievements and I don't have any H2 achievements so my frustration with this has led me to project my distaste towards someone calling me a failure. Oh please just stop! Your completely right!

it might be time for you to move along and continue to pretend you're something you're not; good.
Yeah, I guess i should stop pretending i'm not good.

Look, I respect your strong views and defensive response to another B.net member. But while you may argue that i was belittling him and now you. It doesn't change the fact that achievement websites exist, and that using them is not a crime.

What's funny is that i only provided help and defended those who are in need of it.

Xbox Live Achievements are not in the same league as Achievements that society calls upon in Real-Life.

Please stop acting like people should be ashamed to ask for help getting achievements. It's not very nice and to be frank, [removes potential petty insult, LOL]. You may not agree with my view, which is fine by me.

But acting like you are above it all and scorning others for it, is unacceptable by my standards.

Halo 3

Helping each other get achievements is always fine. It's how most of them are done in real life, such as getting a high school or college diploma- you achieved it by working and getting help with friends, and getting help from the professors, and much more. And in regards to multiplayer, many games have achievements that can only be completed using group effort. An example would be getting Recon in Halo 3; you have to get a group of 4 and work together in ODST and play 2 hours of teamwork in order to unlock an achievement, which gets you closer to unlocking Recon.

And with H2Vs small population, it's almost necessary to get people together to unlock achievements, even if they are as simple as completing a match in a specific way.

Boosters talking about standards is like a whore talking about having morals.

And look, Ben trying to justify it. Go figure.

Carry on, pretenders. :)
