"Find The Bomb?!
Find The Bomb?!
I'm Looking For The Flag!
What The Heck Is Assualt!?"

And not themselves.

Quite simply after the original firing of the halos and all species had their DNA cloned and dropped off I don't see why the forerunners would not have as well.

I'm not saying anything about any other plots as a tie-in, simply they most likely exist still somewhere.

They don't consider themselves worthy, perhaps. Or they did and just left the galaxy.

BLAM!

I think they've left the galaxy?

Ya know, we haven't searched the entire galaxy... Just cause 343GS says they all died doesn't mean much. They could have escaped into the various shield worlds. Nobody knows yet. Maybe the next Halo book from Greg Bear will discuss this matter

Kinda of wierd considering they made shield worlds to save themselves, but yeah there somewhere out there

Halo:Cryptum has come that may solve some of our problems

Don't believe anything Spark says because the Forerunners limited his knowledge in case the flood would capture him.

I'm sure the Forerunners left the galaxy as said by the encyclopedia and hinted in the halo 3 terminals and the legendary planet which is clearly a Forerunner planet and not Reach like some people claim

5 bucks says The Legendary Planet is Charum Hakkor.

Also known as where the Captive is/was hidden...

Oh, you really think so? Insight of the century, right here.

I've been calling a rogue band of Forerunners for two, three games now. The existance of a rogue, antagonistic Precursor only makes this all the more likely.

Whens there's no one to turn to, just aim ahead

They didn't mean to whip themselves out. They all planned to enter into an alternate type of slipspace world ( You read about it in Ghosts of Onyx, where they would be safe from the halo arrays, but something went wrong with the forerunners plans, and the halo arrays were activated early, killing all of them.
