Seriously Oak, Ive been doing this -blam!- for 16 years, gimmie my Friggen starter Pokemon and dont call me till im the champion! ¬_¬

So ive been talking to another player on here, ODSTsteels, and we were discussing ideas about the data pads and the legendary ending of H3

So its clear that AI's have been playing a big part in the games up till this point, what with the Cortana letters, Medicent Bias, and now apparently, a lone, obscure AI leaving these data pads, talking of how these AI's have been in control, and in secret, aiding humanity

Now its been in my head about the halo 3 cortana legendary terminal, where medecent bias mentions he will "Redeem himself by showing his creators you"

Now, that led me to believe, and still does, that with some quic paced AI medalling, before his destruction, MB sent MC to the forerunner homeworld, and i kept thinking "I wonder whatll be on it now"

Thats when ODSTsteels mentioned something guilty spark says, along the lines of "I know ive seen you somewhere, you look different"

Maybe there was something a little more off with that slipspace rupture than we realised, maybe MC's half of the ship didnt just jump through space, but TIME, back to the forerunners themselves!

Marketing wise, it makes sense, 343 studios are releasing a series of forerunner based books Now, why now? We had no idea who they are, even what they look like! But its almost like were being prepared for something, and i doubt its to look amongst some forerunner ruins

ive yet to read cryptum yet, from what ive heard, it has alot of mind-blamming moments that turn the halo universe on its head, but do any of them coincide with this at all? From what i can tell, AI's are Very big in the book aswell, maybe even surviving on...

Any of this seem plausable or correct?

No, no, time travel is an annoying plot device.

I'll go with Forerunner planet, where a team of antagonist Forerunners lie dormant.

It really is, but i can totally see them going for it

And i wouldnt say dormant Forerunner, id say more likely rampant AI, machines left in isolation soo long that they've gone mad, angry, and you step into theyre territory in an attempt to fix things :P

Hmm intresting theory, im not a huge fan of it because time travel is an easy way out for storys, but i think that if they choose to continue MC's story they may do somthing along the lines of there being forerunners still alive inside one of the sheild worlds and MB just so happens to drop MC there as his last act at forgivness or somthing. But you are entitaled to your own opinion (( and in this case, its a pretty decent one compared to others ive seen ))

Bungie have said they don't like time travel as it is a "cliched plot device" or something to that effect. So time travel is out, and we can all breathe a sigh of relief.

Forerunners fought Precursors for inheritance of the mantle.

Humanity must fight evil Forerunners for the circle to be complete!

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.
