Okay okay, so I missed the train on this easter egg....but I have the feeling many others did. So here goes:

On Assault on the Control Room, get to the bridge near the end of the level (the one that passes over the final pyramid thingy). Now the trick is to steal one of the parked banshees on the bridge. If successful, head up toward the three U - structures located around the shaft-thingy that goes up from the pyramid itself. Now I'm not sure which one of the U's you land on, so try this next step until you are successful (in other words use the process of elimination).

Land your Banshee. Get out so that you can walk along the U structure you parked on. You will want to walk to the far right side of the U (it would be on your right if you had your back to the bridge, and were facing the shaft). If you landed on the correct U structure, when you get to the right edge this really awesome (and calming) music will play.

There are vids and links to the actual music, but then if I posted that none of you would have to try it for yourself! hehe

It is a piece of music called "The Siege of Madrigal" and was written by Marty for Myth: The Fallen Lords.

I agree, still very good!

But here is the online clip for anyone interested (or for those who don't want to play all the way through AOTCR to hear it):

I thought I edited my post telling how to fix the problem.... basically just copy and paste the address to your web browser address bar. It should then play in your default media player...

Here's something different all on it's own, though:

On the Halo 2 Soundtrack vol 1 on the last track that same music plays once the first part of the song ends. Very cool. Beautiful music, Marty.
