There just aren't enough moments in the day to rectify the wrongs of the past.

Now im going to start this off short and sweet, I personally have never found the music of Halo to be very "epic" in terms of classical musics "attitude" per say. Music from the artists of Epic Score for instance have some of the greatest and most thrilling classical music, you can find them on itunes, and compared to the halo music of all-time, it completely blows it away. This might just be my opinion alone, but the music in Halo has never really stood out as something that I would ever consider spending money on. Or the Famous composer, Hans Zimmer, who did music for Inception and some of Call of Dutys games, but comparing his music and how thrilling and powerful it is to Halo's would just be unfair. So, as MY opinion, the music in Halo has never presented itself to me as something that stands out from other video game soundtracks and music elsewhere.

Message me if you want, I will try to get back as soon as possible.

See you on the forums and in the games.

True, mainly opinion, but I see where you are coming from. Also this thread doesn't belong here, sorry Broseidon.

Yeah, at first I was like "Zomg Halo music is teh best!!!!".
However, soon after listening to things like this, I've heard much better. Not to say Marty and Mike's works aren't beautiful. Just that, other things have now out shined them.

"If you bring your sword to bear harm upon us, with claws and fangs, we will exact a toll."

"An organic life contact-purpose humanoid interface created by the Data Interface Thought Entity which supervises this galaxy, that would be me."

I'm Chinese, but I'm not born in China, I'm Singaporean. Which would explain my relative fluency in both English and Mandarin.

It doesn't, but it does leave a feeling of nostalgia and epicness for a while. I usually get turned on by more tangible things, like thousands of polygons of HD 1080p graphics.

"Reclaimer" is quite popular. Probably for the guitar. Unyielding, however, is just too much to handle.

What did I do? I meant that I like the music a lot, in fact Marty's is my favourite ones. It's just that it's not to the point where I get -blam!-ly aroused by them.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Call of Duty has a pretty terrible soundtrack, it's the generic sort of military themes that (unfortunately) Zimmer really didn't put a lot of his own music into. Black Ops's soundtrack sounds almost exactly like the Transformers OST.

Halo has always had fantastic music, there are some tracks which some composers don't hold a candle to. In Amber Clad, Blade & Burden, High Charity suite, Reach's choir and Under Cover of Night are examples of Marty's music that touches on divinity.

In fact, the Halo 2 OST alone stands as one of the most beautiful collections of music out there. Of course there are always going to be people who are better, but only by a slight margin.

The themes in Halo are truly the most epic of all video games. They compare to the epic music of the Star Wars series and all John Williams' music in general.

"Were it so easy..." -Thel Vadame.

I love the Halo OST, from all games. I love the style, lots of vocals, lots of strings, lots of 'dun dun dun's, etc. My favorite game soundtrack.
