I can't sign on to XBL cause my ethernet cable is broken, so how can I send FR's for the future? Well, XBL is the internet, and so is Bungie.net, so, why not create a way to send FR to gamertags if you are logged into a Bungie account? A secure way to do it would be

1- Log in. Click on the gamertag linking to your friend page.
2- Click "Add Friend"
3- Select the person using the library given.
4- Sellect the name, type in your 4-digit code password
5- FR sent.

And there you go. But, the response I anticipate would probably something within the lines of involvement between your GT, Xbox live, and Bungie.net

Since this seems to be more of a suggestion for Bungie.net and not any future Bungie game nor oldschool Bungie game, I moved this from The Underground to The Septagon.

"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

It would be even more cool if a Passport linked tag was also able to review the Friends List from MSN Messenger as well as send/receive both voice and text messages to their Friends List using that application. Both MSN Messenger and the XBL Messaging services are text and voice capable, it is likely only a framework or an interface build that is separating them.

Now that is an awesome idea. I do so wish it could work. Maybe in the future it will as well. They could be trying to get it to work right now. You never know with that crazy Microsoft.

I would think that a system that was originally would work well in theory, but there would probably be a lot of problems. One perhaps being that people would come to stalk people who have high levels and constantly send them FRs in the hopes that the lower leveled person can be padded up levels.

That would be pretty cool.

And just a thought: Why don't you take the ethernet cable that connects to your computer and use it for your Xbox for a direct connection to Live?
