From Reach all the way to the battle of Installation 00.

I mean seriously who wouldn't want to see The home fleet fight the covenant?

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

I would like cinematics for everything.

It wouldn't be a bad idea. Bungie would make so much money from it. It would probably make more then Avatar because all the Halo fans would see it, along with their friends, and people who don't know Halo, but thought it looked interesting.

Yes it is spelt like that on purpose.

I don't mind a little CG but I think Bungie prefers to use the in game engine for cutscenes, and honestly considering how few companies do this now a days it is something to be appreciated.

No...no it wouldn't. Here's the first thing people need to grasp about movies and video games. You need more people to watch a movie in order to make as much money as a game that has less people playing it. The core population of a game is nothing compared to the core population of a theater demographic. There are scores more people who have seen Avatar, even in 3D, than have bought any one Halo game.

This is why making video game movies is such a risk for studio unless they can spin it towards the mainstream crowd. The established fan base is still nowhere near enough to sustain a Hollywood budget and thus there'd have to be a marketing push to convince the average joe that average looking sci-fi movie that sorta kinda resembles Aliens is all the rage to go see.

But...Avatar was terrible. The only thing good about it was the graphics. Other then that, it completely sucked. The storyline was so predictable. It was a big disappointment. Avatar didn't even deserve all the money it got from that. Anyway, I understand it's hard to make a movie for a video game that sells, but if it's like the Landfall shortclip, then I'm sure it'll be good.
