How is this actually (read: legitimately) Bungie related, let alone not considered spam for this forum? Kind of ridiculous this has garnered as much attention here as it has even more so that certain people are content to let this slide.

You were saying?

This has just as much a place here as Marathon and Minotaur discussions. QftC is one of the best things someone at Bungie has given us. Ever. The latter half of your brief post is quite inflammatory. I believe it is perfectly within the guidelines for this forum. Please learn a little more about BU before you imply that mods are somehow failing to do what they know how to do.

On Topic, in that same update they mentioned it was unlikely that we would get Marathon on the XBox. We've got Durandal on the 360. Darn close, I'd say. I guess I can hold out hope for Quest for the Ruby Emerald.

Yes I was, and still am.

If you are going to try to argue contrary to me, please at least provide something other than the game's brief mention, in passing, from a news item over five years old. Great, it references a few contemporary employees and is nodded to tongue-in-cheek. Many YouTube videos and other internet esoterica fall into the same category but I hardly see anyone going on about them, and doubt they would be received the same if posted here. It was a spoof game, that is all.

A spoof game. Related to Bungie. See how you're leaving out the key parts?

If you're going to argue against the existence of the thread, you're the one that needs to bring evidence.

Anyway, I'm going to drop it before we hijack the thread in an argument and it gets locked for flaming. At which point you would probably claim it was locked because you were right.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

And people say Reach is the pinnacle of Bungie's great games, this is the best game ever.

Welcome to my empire.

Cool link for Fable 3. Thank you, now I don't have to buy it anymore.

DLC planned anyone ?

Well more armor perms would be nice. More asymmetrical multiplayer maps as well. The current ones are terrible.

Awesome, I will check the weekly updates !!! got 800MS points burning a hole in my pocket - will use it to get a new hat for my character !

Actually, I don't see how that is occurring. Any number of things are "related to Bungie" but are outside of the purview of this forum, however, for some reason this item is an exception. It would be similar to making a thread about Stubbs the Zombie and discussing it here simply because some former employees are listed in the credits and a shout-out to it was made in a weekly update ages ago, even though it does not conform to permitted topic guidelines.

My view is that the spoof in question is not an actual published game and therefore isn't Universe forum material; this would be best served in the Community forum or the Flood. I'm really not sure how much clearer I can make my opinion, or the fact that this is just my opinion. Last I checked, I was allowed to have one, and I really wasn't expecting that point be belabored.

Also, no one here is flaming, and the only one making personal commentary about other users (read: me) is you.

Dang right. It's like starting a thread of World of Warcraft because Blood Gulch is in WoW: Cataclysm..?
