Subject: Halo Wars 2.....Halo: ODST 2? Would you like this?

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

I thought Halo Wars had a solid storyline and a fun campaign. Multiplayer was fun, as well.

Although short, and aside from it's happy ending, the ODST storyline was also pretty solid and pretty fun to play. It wasn't the best, but still.

Therefore, I think it'd be cool if 343 Industries made a sequel to Halo Wars, or an RTS like Halo Wars with a whole new story. But, it keeps the Halo Wars name.

Also, I think ODST has the potential to have another game, too. Probably not a sequel since the first was between Halo 2 and 3. But, at least, a whole new story. Maybe the same characters, maybe new. Maybe The Rookie as a veteran, who actually talks.

Anyway, the point is: I think ODST and Halo Wars, both, have the potential to have similar games made. Not neccessarily a sequal, but another powerful and rich storyline. With, the same or new characters.

Another good idea is: You play as ODSTs on the Spirit of Fire, which sort of combines the both games, but it would, indeed, be an FPS.

DonVinzone1 takes credit for this idea:
343 Industries could incorporate the Kinect, so you can use it to play Halo Wars. You can have voice commands and such to move your troops/units for an overall amazing experience.

Halo Wars 2 Yes please they can't leave us in a cliff hanger like that, but odst 2 should be dlc for Halo 4 not the Halo CE remake that is coming out next year!

why would any game developer waste to money to make a sequel to the two worst games in the halo franchise?
If u ask me and about a few other million people, there should be a remake of halo 2 with better graphics but no changes to the game engine or gameplay.

I know numerous people who liked Halo Wars and ODST.

I don't think they were the worst two Halo games.

Also, how can you make a sequel to any other Halo games besides Halo 3?

"Find The Bomb?!
Find The Bomb?!
I'm Looking For The Flag!
What The Heck Is Assualt!?"

A new ODST?

You mean generally a new game in the halo universe?

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

Had Halo Wars been a FPS, it probably would have been my favorite Halo campaign. I would like to see a direct sequel to Halo Wars, as a FPS.

i dont know anyone thats played halo wars and hates it. odst had a solid storyline but people didnt like it because there wasnt much else to do except firefight with no matchmaking

An assassin will always carry on, even after death.

I liked both games and would love to see a sequel to both, even Halo ODST 2, based during Halo 3.

UWG Great group, you should check it out.

Halo Wars 2: No. That game just wasn't something that could keep my attention.
Halo ODST 2: Yes. That game was great, and I would love to see more insight on the ODST's and even marines.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I'd like both.

But for an ODST 2, another battle, like Jericho VII, which I'm positive the ODST's fought there.

I agree. I'd love to see the ODST's point of view. Even though I love the Spartans, I'd like to see the ODST's b*tch about them because they're jealous. They also pull a lot of weight and are interesting.

This is interesting. I think I'd like it to be during Halo 3. Maybe even have it so there is a connection to what you did as Master Chief.

For example: *Radio Chatter* "Holy s*it. The Master Chief just took on two Scarabs and beat the s*it out of them both!" (Refering to the two Scarabs you have to destroy in the mission, "The Covenant."

I wouldnt mind seeing both. ODST 2 I personally would not care for much since I find ODST rather boring, but I really enjoyed the Halo Wars plot (more so than I enjoy the plot of Reach, tbh) and would love to see it continued.

A spin off to Halo Wars using the same characters but perhaps an FPS would be interesting. You could play as one of the spartans on the SoF or something.

isn't that where the Rookie's entire battalion was wiped out?

Maybe it'd be a lot darker then.

I would definately like to see sequels to both games, especially Halo Wars, considering the cliffhanger. However, if there was to be a ODST sequel. I want to feel more vulnerable. In the original ODST, I didn't feel like a Marine, struggling to survive, mainly because I was taller than the AI Marines, could jump rather high for a regular human, and because it seemed like I could take more hits than I could in Halo 3, in some situations.

I would also like to see a Halo FPS with Halo Wars vehicles added into it. I'd love to be able to control a Locust, or a Hawk.

Or you could combine both and have ODSTs on the Spirit of Fire and play as them in first person. :D

I liked the Halo Wars story better then Reach's, also.

A darker ODST game would be perfect. The happy ending in ODST was okay, but the darker the better, imo.

Yes, you had way too much health in ODST. You can argue that it was because of the armor, but ODST armor isn't that strong. I didn't mind the jumping. It could be lowered a bit.

Also, before Reach was released, I was one of those people who were in favor of having Halo Wars vehicles in Reach. Therefore, I'd really like to see those vehicles in any Halo FPS. The Hawk would be a blast to use along with the cyclops.

Under the Bungie Universe sign, on the top right, it says "Create a Topic."

But, if you just created your account, then you have to wait 24 hours.

Halo Wars 2 would be awesome, as long as there's Space Battles and you can play as the Flood.
